Tell me who you think who should stay and who do you think should go and why. Also, tell me who you think should replace them. Personally, I think instead of Akbar it should be Evan Dollard since he already is not able to compete and he has actually done the course. That is my main change I would do. What would you do?

I agree about Evan Dollard being a better announcer than the two people here. Also, I don't know if it's just me, but the interview lady has never sat well weith me. I don't know, she just seems too much like a news reporter rather than someone who is actually invested in the show.

Hmm...Akbar actually sounds a lot more invested compared to Johnny last year so I'm ok with him, but with Jenn Brown, yeah, as much as she might be trying, she's not really "sounding" as invested as what most would think she should be.

Akbar looks ok after editing but oh my god the recording sessions were something else!!!! Dollard would be a great addition in my opinion. Jenn, she's not bad, maybe a bit one dimensional. And Matt is the man, nobody will ever replace him

Agreed with everyone that Jenn is dull, Akbar isn't bad but I feel he isn't fully in the world of NW yet, he's done a good job learning in a short time but I get that kind of vibe he doesn't 100% get it yet, Matt has gotten it over the years, I get the feeling he understands now, sure some of the comments he's made have been sort of off but I get the feeling that he was given bad info from whoever gives the info.
Please note the run announcers have a telepromter for promos which seems to have some prepared scripts for situations (couldn't read it from my seat but I saw a bunch of scrolling before segments), don't know how much the announcers have to do with the scripts though (I saw Matt and Akbar coming down the booth and going up several times throughout the night in Baltimore, Matt even was nice enough to come out in front of the crowd and give a mass hi to everyone, I respect that he did that for everyone)
Also can we collectively agree worst commentator ANW has has was Blair Herter's announcing of ANW1, he wasn't horrible on other G4 stuff but his ANW commentating was terrible

Matt should never be replaced, he is awesome! Akbar is better than Jonny though, however someone else that knows a bit more about Sasuke should be the 2nd announcer. Jenn is ok but seems like a generic sportscaster. I wish that Alison or Angela would come back.

I remember sitting in the stands at the Venice finals eagerly waiting to see some runs. But before anybody ran the course, we all had to wait for Akbar to do his lines... It seemed like forever. After a while he would mess up his lines and everyone in the audience let out a disappointed "Ohhhhhhh-" and then Matt Iseman told us Akbar was going to "kick our little a**es." True story.

Is there anyone any of you would like to see be the interviewer or the host of ANW that hasn't already.
For example, I think Brian Redban, the co-host of The Joe Rogan Experience could be a good host of ANW.

Same thing happened in Baltimore too at the end of the night (one of the few times you could hear the announcing), Akbar kept messing up the line (mainly kept derping on the word time/times in the sentence), one guy yelled to hurry up, Matt yelled down at the near-heckler "this man is a 6'6, 260 pound former NFL linebacker, he takes shits bigger than you are", everyone but the guy who yelled up was amused, at the end of when the promo was done the girl with the yeller guy pointed at him and jokingly said "That's him, He's the $#!+ " lol Even when it's not 6am that's funny stuff lol

2 things I did not like about Akbar:
1. When Stratis was trying to keep his balance on the balance bridge Akbar said that Stratis should go for it. The next episode Akbar said going slow was the best way to get through the obstacle.
2. Akbar makes way too many football references. Like when he thought Shawne Merriman had the best shot out of everyone on the Denver course.

It's too bad about ANW's revisionist history, because I'd like to see Kane Kosugi get a shot at hosting.

Wait, so a 6+ foot, 240 lb man has a better chance of passing the grip hang than a rock climber who is used to carrying their entire weight around?

But yes, he would be a good host if NBC ever allowed it American-born of Japanese heritage, and had a rough relationship with his father (martial artist and actor) who was focused on making a living in Los Angeles.

Do any of you have any thought of who could do well at hosting.

Here are some other people I think could host ANW. Tell me what you think.
-Like I said, Brian Redban -Kevin Pereira -Joe Rogan -Bill Hader -Dave Foley -Al Madrigal -J.B. Smoove -and of course, Venus Headtrap
And for interviewer, only 2 people
-Sarah Silverman -Janeane Garofalo
Yeah, so tell me what you think of these people

Honestly, a couple years ago when it looked like Levi (and Brian Orosco, to a lesser extent) were starting to "check out" of the whole ANW scene, I kinda thought either of them might end up behind the mike. Matt does a good enough job as the "play by play", but they really need an analyst who can provide some insight and tell us what's going on that we cant see on film...behind the scenes, inside your head kinda stuff that you cant get from a snowboarder or linebacker One of my biggest complaints has always been the, at times, completely subjective "analysis". One runner is lauded for doing something, and the very next runner is faulted for it, it sometimes sounds like they're just making it up as they go to sound "sportsy" on TV. I think a veteran in the booth would bring some consistency in interpreting the runs.
