He just blitzed right through. Like his other runs, but I'm still annoyed with the damn Backstream robbing him of a third stage run the same way it robbed Li, Shingo, and Kouji (and pretty much everybody else who failed there, or was slowed down by it). Still it's good to see he hasn't softened up. Maybe with Shunsuke back, We'll see Kane! It's a pipe dream I know. Anyway, it's great seeing Shunsuke's full run, he's not as fast as I expected, but still an overall great run. I don't think that's gonna happen ( read here).

The backstream didn't really waste his time like everyone else, he knew the trick, he just lost too much time at the Swap Salmon Ladder really :/

Like I did with Shunsuke, I found another competitor's full run on youtube linked to me via facebook. You may not recognize Keitaro Yamamoto (#91 in 29, UNCLI #5), but he previously competed in Sasuke 20 at age 16, wearing glasses and was pretty much bald (failed Jumping Spider in 20).
Enjoy:

Spoiler WTF 18.63? It's VERY hard to believe he cleared Sasuke 27's First Stage with ONLY 4.15 Seconds Left, NOW, he does it with MUCH more time left. More interesting, I TOTALLY can't believe BOTH Yuuya and Keitaro grabbed the LEFT side of the JHK!
I STILL can't believe we're founding these clips AND I'm STILL dying for full runs of Kouji, Morikami, Ishikawa, Kong, Okuyama, Kanno, Ryo, and Yuuji! EDIT: Add Shinya and Ryoichi even though they both failed Stage 1.

Keitaro was very fast. He made stage 2 pre-Backstream look even easier than Yuuji did.

By chance, did anyone who got to see Keitaro's full Stage 1 run notice how much time he had left?

Thank you! EDIT: I just checked the SASUKEpedia page for SASUKE 29, and it looks like somebody was smart enough to record the time before the video went private. The exact amount of time left was 17.84 seconds.

Announcer Hatsuta freaked out when he was on top of the 2nd WW. He had FIFTY seconds left BEFORE the Backstream; too bad he can't swim! Still can't believe he was SLOWER than Yuuya LOL!

He didn't have 50 seconds before the backstream. More around 40. Yuuji was the fastest in Stage 2 up until that point.

Hey guys!
I just rewatched Yuuya's run, and heard the announcer roughly say (around 1:45) "Takahashi-san ni ju san vion ichi ichi", which got me thinking that Kong had 23.11 seconds left. There is a thread where Philip revealed that Kong had 23 seconds left on Stage 1, but with the announcer on this run, I HIGHLY believe it's 23.11!

The announcer does say "ni juu san byou ichi ichi". By the way, byou means second(s).
