Hey, just created here since Esquire didn't see fit to preserve the old G4 NW/ANW boards I missed the first week in Venice this season, what with all the funky multi-channel airings and P1/P2 confusing my DVR horribly...but me (and my wife)were wondering where some of our favorite vets from previous years are now, if they're running, what region they're running in, etc. Orosco, Levi, Drew, Frosti, David Campbell, any of the other notables from last year...Rocket I guess is on the production side now, apparently?

Brian, David and Frosti ran in Venice, Levi did not compete AFAIK, David cleared, Brian failed the Flying Nunchuks (a combination of Sasuke 27's Chain See-Saw and Giant Swing), I forget where Frosti failed, If I remember correctly it was either Floating Chains (A variation of the Hang Move with 5 chains where only the second and fourth have a foothold) or Flying Nunchuks.
By Drew I assume you mean Dreschel who ran in Miami (which airs in a couple of days from now).
Rocket is ineligible to compete this year, not as much production though, he's working with G4 on these "Well Trained Warrior" segments but his involvement with the course means he can't compete this year (not sure about next year though, I know the amateur testers can enter next time)
Any other vets by name you're looking for?

Its interesting, the distinction between "game show" and "sport"...one might argue that Rocket shouldn't be ineligible for it, anymoreso than an NFL player should be ineligible just because he appears in NFL promotional material... But anyway, since you ask Flip Rodriguez (assuming he's in Miami still too?), Paul Kasemir, James McGrath, Brent Steffensen, and heck, Remi Bakkar, the Cirque guy from last year.

Well it's the fact that he knows the ins and outs of this year's course, it would give unfair advantage knowing the specs and tricks of this year's courses
Flip is in Miami, Paul Kasemir ran in Denver, that's a week and a half away (although spoiled by the opening clips), James McGrath ran in Venice, he cleared, Remi ran in Venice but I honestly forget his result, sorry for derping

That explains why I don't remember his run, he didn't make one lol Logically if he did run it should be Venice considering he's from Vegas, I guess he didn't run (guess his wife made him march back to cirque du soleil and made sure he didn't quit again lol )

He (Kelvin/Grandpa Ninja) went out on the Frame Slider (A variation of the Cross Slider, it's longer so legs can (and have to) be involved in a full spider pose, manually launched (which caused it to be mounted off the end of the platform which messed people up and even dislocated Alan Connealy's shoulder) and has a drop in the middle) The Brent thing is correct, he cleared in Venice

Thanks Rider for reminding me of how I hate that obstacle, I will be back for revenge soon.
Yes in Venice we had Jessie LeFlair, Brian Orosco, David Campbell, Frosti, Paul Darnell, James The Beast McGrath, Shane Daniels, David Money, and several others that have been doing this for over 3 years. This was my 4th year and hopefully they will continue to take my for many more years to come.

Did The Amazing Oti run? I haven't seen him on the forum for a while. He didn't get an invite this time, I asked why I didn't see him in Baltimore, he said he was going to walk on in Denver (due to being able to stay with Chris C, he knew Baltimore's WO situation would be bad (and it was, people were out there since wednesday, the rain delay made matters worse) and the Chris thing is why he skipped Miami) but I'm not sure if he got to run

Oti was not in Denver to my knowledge. I don't remember seeing him, but there were a LOT of people in the walk-on line for days beforehand, and I'm not the best with faces that aren't in a little static window.
