Yeah I have a gut feeling we won't be seeing Brian
Levi is going back, 99% sure
But I'm SO glad David won!
I've wanted him to make it every single time, and finally he's done it
I'm surprised Olivia that you chose him, I was expecting you to go for another free runner...

Both Levi and David Campbell have a great shot at reaching stage 3, although it will be tough for David as it's his first time and all. But it seems that he ahs studied and trained for all the new obstacles and his preparation is amazing so who knows? Maybe he'll pull a Levi ala Sasuke 20! Seriously, Levi, Nagano, Takeda and Nagasaki would be my picks for stage 3 and beyond? OK, maybe not.

Hey.. stranger things have happened.. remember Toshihiro Takeda and Koji Yamada pwning the course and getting very far on their first trip to Sasuke. So anything is possible. I like David already. Very down to earth if not a bit monotone but still no hint of "watch me beat this thing". He is confident without throwing it down your throat.. I appreciate that. Hope G4 doesn't go insane. The fact that Monster 9 is cutting down even further and dropping Muscle Park from the G4 taping is going to be a further distancing from Ninja Warrior. I'm curious to see how TBS shows the Americans this time around.

Didn't Takeda only get to the Spider Walk on his first try? Granted, he was one of only 3 people to clear stage one so I suppose the point still stands. Jordan Jovtchev is one that jumps to mind, epic recovery in the first stage and then got to the final stage in his first tournament.
It's only natural that TBS are toning down the American presence. They were massively hyped in 21 and had 6 slots, due to Levi's performance in 20. I think TBS went a bit overboard and now they're correcting it, and it was only going to go down from there anyway. I suppose no Americans getting past stage two didn't help.

And remember, for 19 TBS didn't make too much of a deal out of it. It was just kinda "Hey, these two guys won a contest and here they are. Sasuke's gone global!"
I agree that it was the Levi effect. If anything can be gleaned from his success it was that you didn't have to be Japanese on the new course. But then when he was 99 and failed where the two guys before him succeeded, they probably just went "Whoops. Better fix this." Levi will probably be back, but the "New Hero" label has probably been dropped.

I'm going to be the first to say it, Levi and Mark will be going along with David.
People kep saying Luci, which makes sense because she free runs and stuff, but she never technically won if I remember. Mark was #1 last year, and Levi is a given.
So if it isn't Mark, then it's Colin, which I doubt.
Luci is a good female and all... but really, do you think she can pass all of the stages? no, she has no chance to beat stage 3, and a small chance to beat stage 2.
0 chance of beating the final stage.
mark on the other hand was completely robbed in ANC3, after his nerve injuries. He CAN do it all and he deserves another chance.
Mark, Levi, and David. That's what I'm hoping.
Colin would be nice, and Brian too, but I am almost positive Brian isn't going again.

But Mark may not be fully healed up after his injury. If he doesn't believe that his hand is strong enough, he wouldn't go. Has anyone managed to talk to him and ask how he is?
As for Luci, I don't know how big a chance she has of beating the First Stage and I admit that it's doubtful she could beat the Salmon Ladder. But after being the only woman to even attempt the Jumping Spider (and then the first one to beat it) I would like to at least see if she could make it to the Warped Wall this time around. And if she would be able to beat the wall? Woo boy could you imagine how crazy the spectators would go.

To be honest, I would like to see Luci go again. It would be nice for her if she could show Nagano that she listened to his advice and beat the Halfpipe Attack (of course, if she misses it again it's not because she didn't listen to Nagano, there are many factors). And if she could beat the first stage that would be epic (in my opinion).
David seems to have great potential. He built some obstacle replicas to train on, and he wants to visit Muscle Park to practise. He seems to know quite a lot about the course for somebody who hasn't been there. Plus he talks to forum users, and he has in mind that if he does well, more Americans could be invited later, so he seems like a nice bloke.
Levi going is the worst-kept secret so far (I'm going to look stupid if I'm wrong here). TBS possibly won't hype him up as much, but he still went equal-farthest of the Americans (though not the farthest foreigner), and 2 consecutive first stage passes is still impressive.
And just to demonstrate that you should never take my opinion seriously, I think Olivia will beat the Sextuple Steps this time (you can quote me on that). Log Grip is not happening though.

IMO Luci passing the first stage would be better than another male getting to the Cliff Hanger (but not further).

Unless luci grows a few inches, or keps Mizazaki hops (1M virtical), i dont see her past the wall. The other two however, will probably be Levi and Chuck Norris . Seriously though, Sasuke must invite Chuck Norris. But honetsly Levi and Mark/Brett. If Mark feels he's healthy enough then hes going, otherwise "Bretto" will be going

I agree with you Venus HeadTrap.
I don't think Brett is going. Why would he sent in a video to ANC4 if he was already invited? I doubt they would have told him afterwards that he was already going.

Out of all the possible winners that could occupy the 2 invites, I wouldn't mind a Brett return it's just that there's quite a few others I'd rather see. It's still possible for him to go again because he's been told before that he did not win but was so impressive that he be invited along side the winners. It's been said that Levi is a given and I agree, but with him and Dave I want to see Colin, Mark or Luci.

I don't think Brett is going. Why would he sent in a video to ANC4 if he was already invited? I doubt they would have told him afterwards that he was already going. Brett submitted an ANC2 video and he automaticly went to 20. The fact that Olivia wasn't there for the day we got the winner's announcement on AotS (it was Alison instead) seems to keep me posted that Olivia was not the one to pick the winner. If Olivia really picked it Chris probably would have won for using pie in his vid (wasn't that my joke advice? XD ). They probably just said Olivia picks to get guys who think with their groin to enter To be honest, I would like to see Luci go again. It would be nice for her if she could show Nagano that she listened to his advice and beat the Halfpipe Attack (of course, if she misses it again it's not because she didn't listen to Nagano, there are many factors). And if she could beat the first stage that would be epic (in my opinion). I wouldn't be surprised. If they're trying to make it Olivia's pick they would. She has been dropping hints on AotS couple of times saying she's been taining with Luci (don't know if she has, just saying she could have been dropping hints)

You may be right leangle 'cause Olivia might want Luci back just because. G4 might support that. "Levi Meeuwenberg is in a land that's not so foreign any more." OH LOOK WE GOT A OBV CONFIRMATION!!! Where'd that quote come from?
