Note that the revised SASUKE RISING page lists "Guest Panellers". There's only one for now, comedian Teruyuki Tsuchida. No idea how they will be handling it this time.

Navi being only 30 minutes is no big deal to me. As is, Navi is something I would not normally be watching anyway so making it shorter doesn't make much of a difference. It's a waste of time and money. They could just slap all that stuff up on youtube and probably reach a wider audience.
Also, people who complain about the celebrity stuff: Don't watch those portions. Go eat a snack or check your email or do a million other things you could do when they are talking to someone you don't care about. Whining about it here is not going to change the show.

Kinda hard to ignore the celeb stuff when they are in every shot.. Personally I love Navi. I enjoy watching the set up stuff. Hell if they put more stuff in Youtube though I'd be that much happier. I know Navi is a smaller audience but I adore blogging about it.

The reaction shots in the corners are something that you get used to ignoring over time. I'm talking more about the in-studio stuff. It's a break in the action and people should just treat it as thus.

I honestly don't care if it's between stages (hell there were a few of those breaks years back) but the interruption during was annoying as all hell. I can't ignore it.. it really distracts. I know it's the norm for a lot of variety television in Japan but I hate it personally and didn't welcome that addition to Sasuke after 28 shows.. I won't boycott the show like someone already has decided but it really is a distraction I could do without.

Meh. It bothers some. It doesn't bother some. No matter what they do, they aren't going to satisfy everyone.

I posted to Inui (yes.. I'm bold.. some call reckless) about the disappointment of the "celebrity room" returning and he just wrote back..

Hopefully, it'll be like Sasuke 13(?) presentation where there are 3 people in a room like the celeb room. They introduce the show and talk halfway through and after.

Every show until 13 had a studio component because up until 2004 they had an anchor show (either Kinniku Banzuke or the spin-offs).
Also, no "celebrity room" may just mean no party like last time.

The party thing is what everyone had a problem with this is just my speculation but by "guest panellers" sounds to me like celebs joining in on the announcing, which seems interesting to me but feels like it'd be odd if they ever resume Ninja Warrior, besides the low quality translators, seems like celebs would be lost on the US veiwers
