Welcome our two newest moderators, TCM & yamfriend!
As the community continues to grow larger and larger, we decided it was time to bring on a few more people to help out. We've been pretty good at handling most of the stuff that goes on around here, but the team has always been pretty small to begin with and we're not always available when things happen. We hope that the new moderators will help us keep the trolls at bay; help the newbies learn the difference between necrobumping and posting news; and maybe even help out a confused regular in need.

Somehow, their profiles say that they are moderators, NOT administrators like the other 4 mods.
Also, What's the difference between a mod and an admin?

Moderators are (mostly) limited to managing posts and threads, and warning users. Under rare circumstances, mods can edit member profiles (ie: offending image in signature, etc).
Administrators can do everything the moderators can do, and more. Admins manage the forum categories/sections, themes/design, news, plugins, censored words, member groups and ranks, security functions, ban/suspend members, etc.

I plan to keep the peace using good ole fashioned American facism democracy. I'll do my best.

OK, I'll admit, I specifically took this job to terrorize Rider. I'm certain no one opposed.

It's been awhile since I've checked up on the forum, and I find out there are two new moderators? Congrats you two! I think I'm going to be back to reading and posting more often, because I think things are going to get quite interesting. Have fun, Rider.

I don't believe so. I don't know what XDA is. I do use this username for about 3-4 different sites, but not that one. Don't think I've even heard of it.

XDA Developers is the open source Android development community. You'd really only ever hear of XDA if you were interested in loading a custom ROM (ie: custom Android OS), rooting your phone, or developing an Android app.
