Well I've only encountered two problems. No Close Button. Double Jump still broken.

I beat the game! It was pretty cool. Stage 4 was silver and when you got to the top it said PASS! and the portal took you back to stage 1.

Well I've only encountered two problems. No Close Button. Double Jump still broken. The double jump is not broken. You are required to be on ground. The game engine is identical and created with the team of "I wanna be the guy" & "I wanna be the fangame". The only problem I can think is that you need to turn off stickykeys. Since you said you beat the orignal game, this shouldn't be a problem. Especially since the speed of "The Guy" in my game has been slowed down by 0.05 vspeed and hspeed. @chief Illiniwek Grads on beating the demo. I didn't think that you would of been able to get past stage 3. Especially for the stair screen and the invisable maze.I still have alot of ideas and things I'm going to implement. Specifically, this game I made is very speedrun friendly. I'm going to be putting time limits, time tracking, and if I have time, I'll be adding online vs. and leader boards.

Yea, the invisible maze took me 5 tries to figure out. But, very clever. I think I failed just about every obstacle. And the double jump, you have to be on a platform when you first jump to double jump. This is the end of Stage 3.

I AM on a platform whenever I try to double jump, and sometimes the double jump doesn't work, this problem was not present in the original IWBTG. That could be the problem actually. EDIT: Made a vid showing the problems, Camstudio made them a bit worse than they already are though

Rider, it's not a problem as many have said here. It's a little wierd I agree, but tha'ts how it was in the original IWBTG.
Trust me, I know what you're talking about. When I first played IWBTG I was like, wtf.
Chris, I hate you for making the devil steps.
It took me forever to beat stage 1 surprisingly, and stage 2 was actually a walk in the park in compraison.
Stage 3 was incredibly easy up until the steps but then it was just too hard for me, and I started getting frustrated and not even making it to that obstacle after awhile.
What comes after the steps? Was I close to the final stage?

If you're talking about the obstacle after the Jumping Bars-like obstacle, you are 1 obstacle away from the Final Stage.

Damnit XD
Guessing that's the invisible maze thing?
So stage 3 is relatively easy besides the last 2 obstacles... *sigh*
Devilsteps just suck...
And Chris, where did you get an IWBTG level editor?

I just won today to. The devil steps was actually easier than I thought... I found an easy way to beat it. not technically cheating but it was cheap. Instead of getting a running jump start I noticed I had just enough of an angle to walk to the very edge and jump normally to make it.
The invisible maze only tooke me 1 try. Were you able to die on it? I didn't want to take my chances so i was extra cautious. Pretty simple.
Final stage took the shortest out of them all believe it or not, but it was challenging.
Mostly because I didn't know after the 3rd room that keeping up with the lifting platform didn't matter, because you don't need to use it again for the 4th room. That made me constantly screw up, and it would've been twice as easy had I known that.
The most annoying thing was keeping up to the lifting platform. The first room was easy, but the second you had to get perfect. 1 mistake and youw ouldn't be fast enough.
After that it was a walk in the park, and I got the PASS screen.
Pretty good Chris. I generally suck at platformers, so passing this was a breathe of fresh air.
Still, you should give me whatever you used to level edit.

It's not a level editor, it's a game engine. So you will need to know some programming with a mix of game maker 7.0 skills. Specifically, the programming needed is called "C". There is C++ and C# but for game maker, just use "C" You can find the link on the "I wanna be the fourms". Make sure you download the 7.0 lite version if you never bought game maker. kayin.pyoko.org/iwbtg/forums/index.php?topic=2926.0

I died on the invisible maze on purpose once. I would have trouble making jumps on it. And he used Gamemaker from yo-yo.com. I did the final stage using the easy way and the long way. I have some programming knowledge using NI's LABView.

your screen saver doesn't suprise me at all. But, that is actually on of the easier obstacles in the game. Chris, I'm very interested in seeing what you do next in the game, also could you teach me how to use gamemaker?

I beat it but it, but the devil steps, the 3rd obstacle of stage 1, and the 2-3rd rooms of the final stage were the challenging parts.
Chris, you don't know how many times I fell off the steps and landed inbetween the spikes before getting a rythm and figuring out my trick. Thanks for doing that, I would've died trying to get there every time.

The spaces in between the spikes saved me everytime. The trick for the 3rd obstacle in stage 1 is to just time your jumps. and you just have to be plain fast for the final stage.
