Why should money matter? As a spectator you get paid for sitting in the bleachers (it was pretty good pay IIRC)

If you need spoilers, I've got you covered for the course building. Individual results I'm sure someone will have.

I'd rather run than just watch. but hey, I'm learning scale for next year lol
Also wait a minute... I just looked up this place up on google, I just realized this is the place right next to the Maryland Science Center, now I know exactly where this is (and yeah, it's perfect for ANW). I think it's looking likely I'm going to take a train to baltimore for this.
Any runs in particular you want to see Robby?

Hope you do go. You'll prob enjoy it. I'd be there for sure if it was in the NYC area.
As for runs.... Chris Wilczewski. Mike Needham. Luis Moco. I guess Livewire if he goes..... uh... Bradley Smith, Mike Bernardo, Danny Johnson, and anyone famous/you think is noteworthy. I dont expect you to come back with 30 videos lol. You know what we're looking for.

I doubt you'd be able to test since you're underage. You should go anyway so we can meet, though. Been looking forward to it for a while now.

I'm actually thinking about going myself, if only for the city finals. Do spectators really get paid?

I'm actually thinking about going myself, if only for the city finals. Do spectators really get paid? I heard that they did last year because production had trouble keeping people overnight in mid-March. No idea if they're doing it again this year.

No kidding? That might be a good way to supplement the vacation fund. But then I'd have to take the light rail downtown, and that's a pain.

How much do trains to baltimore cost anyways? I kinda need to know this before then lol Depending on when the trials are happening (I didn't look)... www.howardtransit.com and www.mtamaryland.govSilver Line from Columbia Mall to BWI, then BWI lightrail to Camden Yards, walk about 15 minutes to Rash Field. Howard County bus is $2.00/one way, and the light rail one-way fare is $1.60. I'm not sure whether or not this is on a weekend; be sure to check, because local bus service shuts down early on Saturday and is pretty much non-existant on Sunday. It also takes well over an hour. If the event is during the week, you can probably take a MARC train from the Dorsey station off Rt. 100 to Camden Yards in less than 30 minutes for $4.00 one way. Weekend trains via Amtrak aren't really viable, since they go between BWI and Penn Station, which is way north of where you want to be. If you get stranded in the city after hours, you're looking at a minimum $40 cab fare to get back. Good luck, yer friendly neighborhood travel agent

It's on a friday and saturday (19th and 20th).
If it's 15 minutes walking from the Camden Yards station to Rash Field works out perfectly, considering my plan was train to baltimore and walk over to the course.

This might be less of a problem for you (badazz) than for me (wimp), but I don't like taking the light rail during non-commuter hours. Okay, I'm really, really scared to take the light rail during non-commuter hours because that route goes through some seriously bad neighborhoods. It should be okay if you stick to the times when people are going to and coming from work in the city. Not trying to take your Man Card away, but you should be aware.

Are you allowed to carry a knife on board? (to be fair I carry my multi-tool everywhere, not necessarily as a weapon lol )

We're on deck ladies and gentlemen! Now that Venice is done, they will begin calls for Baltimore. Although when they said they'd call the "week after Venice" they didn't specify whether they'd be calling on Monday or Friday! Here's my blog about waiting this week! americanninjawarrior.com/waiting-by-the-phone-for-baltimore/
