I'm sure if you got out a microscope you could see them.

Is it just me or has Olivia suddenly become a cancer? Here it is two weeks from broadcast and we're all depressed due to what we believe will wreck the show. We should be excited and the knowledge of Olivia getting a second chance at a panic attack is wrecking our excitement.

I'm sure if you got out a microscope you could see them. I'm sure even then they'd be small.

forums.g4tv.com/showthread.php?s=5a05c7cc0b7d0eda4e3450e38792989b&t=115339This post REALLY REALLY pissed me off.. I mean w.. t.. f.. does he realize the jeopardy that puts the American entries for the future? They are already not happy with a few things on the American side including having to nerf the damn course so they won't get sued by the Americans.. I mean wtf.. now we have people just "showing up" because they think their ideas are so good they have to chuck all protocol? Or is it that he's so damn young and his brain is mush that he has no clue wtf he's doing? Or is it just arrogance? gaaaaaaaah sorry for the rant but but PISSES me off. I have to dissagree with you Arsenette. Let me start off by saying I am a long time G4 forum guy, so I guess Im one of those "twerps" you all love so much. Anywhoo, do you not think other American's are doing exactly what he is doing? And look, one American entered through email (yeah, that guy) and he got a chance at Sasuke. If anything, he admits that he isn't strong enough, and thinks he has a better chance of going on Sasuke if he went directly there rather than through G4. I don't know what you meant by "They are already not happy with a few things on the American side including having to nerf the damn course so they won't get sued by the Americans.." Could you explain?

They put padding on the bottom of the Wall Lift after one of them landed on Levi's foot in 20. G4 raised a stink that Levi could have been hurt so Monster 9 and TBS compromised by raising the Walls up a bit and putting padding on them. Gotta protect the feet of the one guy who wasn't strong enough to just lift them up and squeak under.

Could you explain? That was a reference to they made bigger stoppers and more padding on the Wall Lift in 21 after the third wall caught Levi's leg in 20.

Didn't one guy get his entire stomach under the wall lift lol The difference is thats G4, America didn't sue Monster 9. That is ridiculous, G4 looks for every way possible to get money...

Yes, but there were still stoppers, he wasn't injured. And G4 never sued. Monster9 just made the change so if it happens to another american they don't sue. Even those 5 people that got injured on the Rope Glider didn't sue.

Yeah, it's almost as if Japanese people aren't as pansy as we are. Americans sue over anything. Getting fat from McDonald's, burning their laps when they spill their Starbucks, etc.

While on Sasuke there isn't even a liability waiver and they've never been sued from injuries even though injuries happen on the course... really makes you think doesn't it?

My initial post was of someone walking into the course trying to break through security. He backed off when I called him on it. Then he said he was going personally to Sasuke Trials and volunteers his services. THEN he said he was going to TBS directly to give him his specs for a better course.. If that's not arrogance I don't know what is. He left for Japan last week so I'm sure we will hear about it one way or the other what happened from there. I swear if they close off all entries to Americans because of this a** I'm seriously going to be pissed. I don't see why he can't just do what normal people do and .. oh I don't know.. wait to be invited? Sasuke Trials in Japan had 2 THOUSAND entries.. they only picked 60 and 6 passed. What makes this cocky bastard think that by showing up unannounced he should get dibs? As for the TV station thing I'm sure he will get bricked by Security at the front door. I have no problems with people submitting their entries to be invited into the course by email or mail. Heck Oti did it by mail and they wrote back to him for more information. Heck I even put a post on my blog in directions of how to DO it. So I don't see the correlation over the post I made of the asshat going to TBS to offer his "advice" to the wrong place (he should be trying Monster 9 if he wants to get anywhere .. and good luck trying to talk to Higuchi.. LOL I want to be a fly on the wall) and people sending emails to Monster 9 asking for an invite. 2 totally different things. As for nerfing the course.. yeah.. BIG time nerf of the course. That wall lift has had people pinned underneath, landing on achiles tendons (Shingo happened twice.. once cost him the clear) and only when an American had his foot caught briefly they all went "oh crap". As I mentioned before G4 did not complain or sue. Levi did not complain or sue. It was just the mentality in Japan that they are now working with people who do not share their thought pattern. They never had a liability waiver (Still don't) but they still feel compelled to nerf the course to avert any problems in the future.. because of us. In the past the only thing they ever changed was a course problem (Nagano putting his hand off the course on the Shin Cliff hanger so they walled it up so it's physically impossible to do again). They put water under the spider walk.. remember them landing on the steel poles when they fell? OOOOOOOOOUCH.. Heck they even had MAJOR injuries with people in traction in the hospital.. So yeah I get bent out of shape that they changed the wall lift because Levi pinned his foot. You barely have to lift it to slide under. At least Takeda and Nagano lift the damn thing over their heads just to prove how hard their nuts are Mwahahahhahahha

As for Olivia - that guy backed off a little which was cool. Once I brought my frustrations with Levi and Kevin it was difficult to argue from that point. I even made it a point to read Olivia's twitter account to see her thought patterns. She's uber nervous and actually sounds like she gives a crap this time around.. that doesn't mean she won't act like a complete idiot but let's see what happens. Seriously though.. she's still hurt and she's still complaining about it.. She shouldn't be running the course. They have plenty of back up. Some of which actually show up to the course by way of friends. Geez.. give it to one of the Park stars.. they show up whenever one of them ends up on the course. If they gave it to them I'd be happy. Anyone but Olivia.. gaaaaaaaaah. Keeping fingers crossed for a miracle.

Well I think that Olivia getting a chance to compete again in the first place is just stupid, anyone here on these proboards has a better chance of getting past the first stage than her. The fact that she's injured is a negative to...Injured people dont need to be in Sasuke...its that simple. As for the guy that tried to break into the course or trials or TBS or whatever...COMPLETE IDIOT, he should be banned from Sasuke On the fact that they "nerf" the course, it is pretty lame they had to do that b/c of Levi, but there have been plenty of injuries in Sasuke and Kunoichi.....Arsenette's pretty much mentioned the Sasuke ones, but in Kunoichi, wasn't Mizuho Maeda taken to the hospital when she fell off the Pendulum Bridge in Kunoichi 6? We've seen numerous people fail the hop rocket and that couldn't have felt good. Injuries are gonna happen when you have a course that big, and anything can go wrong

i remember reading something, might have been the Japanese Sasuke Wiki, but I'm not sure, that said that when Mizuho Maeda fell off the Pendulum Bridge, she had to be taken to the hospital, I don't remember if she hit the obstacle when she fell or what b/c i haven't seen Kunoichi 6 in a while, but her injury on that could explain why the Pendulum Bridge was taken out in the 7th tournament and replaced with the Magic Wall.

Making changes to a huge obstacle course, now that's what I call stupidity going a long ways. Stupid people not doing the obstacle right is gonna ruin it for the others.. okay that's stretching it a little bit. Now imagine if Levi hit his face on the cliffhanger jump, then what would they do with it? ;D
