What should it be called?

I think the whole "Sasuke Rising" name is stupid. Just call it 29.

Sasuke Rising felt like a one-off to me. It would be awkward to add numbers to the name.

If it had Rising in the name it would be called SASUKE RISING 2013 Summer or whatever season it'll be in.
I say this because the official Sasuke Rising shirts say Sasuke Rising 2012 on them.

I think they should go back to the "SASUKE(Year)(Season/Holiday)" labeling. For example, SASUKE 23 was officially SASUKE2009秋 (a.k.a. SASUKE 2009 Fall); unofficially, the tournaments are referred to by tournament number. Therefore, if the next tournament is in the fall, IMO it should officially be called SASUKE2013秋. Unofficially, I'd like to see it referred to as SASUKE 29; after all, that's how we've been referring to it for years.

No one is going to call it Sasuke Rising 2. But to TBS, that's exactly what it is.
Also, before this tournament if you simply typed 'Sasuke' into google or youtube you got nothing but Naruto. But now that the show has its own unique name, there will be no confusion between Sasuke Rising and Naruto.

We WANT it to be Sasuke 29, but I've got a bad feeling it will turn out to be Sasuke Rising 2 (or something close to that). Lets bear in mind, they're trying to differentiate it from Sasuke (retiring All-Stars etc.), so it seems more likely they'll call it Sasuke Rising 2, just to differentiate it further.

TBS never numbers the tournaments (other than when they show a clip from a previous tournament during a fluff piece.) To them it is the second tournament of a new show, but they don't openly address this.

20 was the only time the official broadcast name had anything other than year and season and that was because it was an anniversary show. Internally they kept count but anything that was published (TV schedules, the TBS website) stuck to the same pattern. The average viewer probably never kept track of the numbers. They never plastered the number on the show before and there is no reason to start doing it now. It would needlessly confuse viewers.
More than likely, they will either replace RISING with another word or pair it with a year.

I'd suggest going with the name, "Final Sasuke." As Square proved, that's guaranteed to get you at least 14 versions of the show (15 if you count Final Sasuke X-2), several spin-offs, and a couple of CG movies. The series needs to last at least twenty more years for my twins to get a shot at running the course.

Uhm.. the point of "Final" Fantasy was because if that didn't succeed that would have been the end of Sakaguchi's career.. Do you REALLY want to go there? LOL Let's not temp fate

LOL Let's not temp fate Come on, have a little faith in Inui! I'm sure he can see the error of his ways, nix Box Girl, and bring the All-Stars (and Tako Tenchou) that everyone loves back. Plus, maybe we'll get a brilliant piece of music akin to the Chocobo theme (I daresay it's the modern Pachelbel's Canon since it's just so darn flexible and works as the main melody or a bridge in any genre of music). I think all of the contestants would look a bit odd drawn in Amano's style, however. We just need someone to get me the winning Powerball numbers, and I'll do what I can to sponsor Sasuke for a proper broadcast in the U.S. (After I get a decently sized house.)

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding you, but following what you just said, that means it won't be either, since they both contain a number. So... Sasuke Rising 2013?

Yeah so that part hasn't changed. However in the print they did mention the words Sasuke 29 which was the purpose of this poll. I also double checked with Inui directly asking if Rising was going to be part of the title at all and he said nope just "Sasuke".

I'm not entirely convinced of the name until they air the show...
