It's.. like a parody, but it's hard to tell if he's really trying to look impressive or if he's being funny.

If it wasn't a parody, he wouldn't have included so many shots of himself falling down. After Levi's first vid, falling on his butt isn't going to impress Olivia.

On the contrary. A joke competitor is so what she's going to choose.....

I still say Olivia picking the winner is only the selling point. It's obvious they want to choose a competitor with the most potential and G4 wants to make the right decision... Actually that's giving them more credit than they deserve, but bottom line, Olivia is only the selling point. The experts obviously have something to do with picking the winner.

I made an index in the first post of this thread of all the videos found so far. They are listed in alphabetical order by first name. Thanks that was really helpful Going back to see which ones I missed.

I know that video editing shouldn't be a factor in the judging process, but when your entire video relies on subtitles because you're speaking a foreign language, you should make sure you pick a readable color for the font!

I was thinking the exact same thing LOL. Maybe Olivia can understand what he's saying anyway?

It's.. like a parody, but it's hard to tell if he's really trying to look impressive or if he's being funny. I just noticed that Z and Fred [No Last Name Given] must be friends because their videos are on the same channel and they both have segments in some of the same locations. Also, I get a parody vibe from Fred [No Last Name Given]'s video as well.

Yep, they were all ones I've seen. The ones posted here that would mean.

So, today's the day. Who do you think is going to win everybody? My money's on David Campbell.

So, today's the day. Who do you think is going to win everybody? An appropriate snark answer would be "whoever wins, we lose"

That's like being in a two man race and saying: "I came in second, my opponent came next to last!"

About Brett: He never blamed it on his injury, he was pretty humble about it. You can tell when watching his run that he's hurt, he makes t pretty obvious. He did the first few obstacles good, but what really hurt him was the jumping spider, mostly the landing after he jumped down.
I'm guessing he either got luck on the half pipe attack, or it was too soon to know that his foot was hurt, he was just trying to go as fast as he could and once he got to the warped wall he notcied and was like... "Crap!".
Brett shouldn't have had a hard time with the warped wall, I'm fairly certain he would've cleared it. It's not a very hard obstacle, and Brett is at least taller than most of the people who do it.
Without that injury he may have beaten stage 1.

I'm assuming she'll announce it on AotS? Which is... what, 5 Pacific, 8 Eastern?

No, AoTs starts at 7pm Eastern, 4 pm Pacific. The first 20 minutes is always dedicated to Around the net, so expect the results to be sometime after that. Hopefully, it'll be right after The Feed.

Unless they do it like last time and announce the winners 5 minutes before the end of the show, kinda like a "By the way, here's our winners."

I get the show started over here in less than an hour now, they're gonna make you sit through the other stuff before they show you what you came to watch the show for. Unless they do it like last time and announce the winners 5 minutes before the end of the show, kinda like a "By the way, here's our winners." Nah they'll do a weak announcement of it, that's at least something.
