Yeah, you would need crazy amounts of repeaters. Five repeaters set to max delay is a delay of two seconds, so a 100 second limit would take over 200 of them.
To have the door close at the end of the time limit, use a redstone torch to invert the circuit.

Bump for my own story/showcase. So, I had always wanted to create a Sasuke-like course on my map, but seeing as I am a Xbox 360 Minecraft user, it's a little bit harder, considering 360 isn't at the PC's level content-wise. I thought I would go easy, and try to build a 3rd Stage from scratch. Well, about seven hours later (and this was without a break, too) of prototyping (out of order) and then rebuilding from scratch in a different part of the map in the correct obstacle order (and then scrapping when I realized I had a major positioning issue and rebuilding again), I finally finished my 3rd Stage. Considering this is not just the biggest project I've done on this game since getting it last month, it's only the 2nd project I've even tried (1st was successfully blowing up my friend). I'm very proud of it, even if it isn't all that extravagant. Here's the completed project (pictures are HUGE, sorry about that, my phone was on an absurd resolution) Day Shot #1: www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0435.jpgDay Shot #2: (Ground shot with the awesome Rayman skin) www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0451.jpgNight Shot #1: www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0436.jpgNight Shot #2: www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0438.jpgObstacle 1: Icicle Cross (jump from ice pillar to ice pillar; snow prevents jumping across one side) www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0439.jpg (Side shot) www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0440.jpg (First person view) Obstacle 2: Globe Grasp www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0441.jpg (First person view; there are ten of them) Obstacle 3: Cliffhanger www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0442.jpgObstacle 4: Jumping Slabs (gap is just big enough that only running jumps work; best to simply run jump once and use the continuous momentum to go down the others) www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0444.jpg (side view) www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0443.jpg (First person view) Obstacle 5: Spider Flip (again, only possible with running jump) www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0445.jpg (side view) www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0446.jpg (First person view) Obstacle 6: Vine Slider (first part is straight path, second you have to climb under the wall, leaving just one block to move on before going back up and aiming for the center ladder piece) www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0447.jpg (side view) www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0448.jpg (First person; starting view) www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0449.jpg (First person; "break zone" view) www.majhost.com/gallery/rollinman09/Minecraft/imag0450.jpg (First person; final "jump") Eventually, I want to have the full course. Hopefully I'll get started on the others soon and have it finished by the end of the year. School will make that a trek though.

Bumping this because I'd like to showcase my course too.
I started working on a Minecraft Sasuke course early last year, but I never got around to completing it. Watching Sasuke 30 has made me want to pick up this project again. Also, the new features offered in these new Minecraft updates has provided me with tools to be a bit little more creative when coming up with some of these obstacles.
All I have showcased in the video is the 1st Stage, but as you can see in the background of the video I also have the 2nd, 3rd, and Final Stages completed. The only things I need to do is figure out a way to implement Wall Lifting and wire the course with redstone and command blocks.
1st Stage obstacles: - Godantobi - Log Grip - Bungie Bridge - Jump Hang Kai - Half-Pipe Attack - Soritatsu Kabe - Flying Chute - Lumberjack Climb
2nd Stage obstacles: - Downhill Jump - Double Salmon Ladder - Unstable Bridge - Spider Walk - Reverse Conveyor - Wall Lifting
3rd Stage obstacles: - Arm Rings - Floating Boards - Crazy Cliffhanger - Rope Junction - Spider Flip - Flying Bars
Final Stage obstacles: - Spider Climb - Tsuna Nobori

I've always wanted to see what features command blocks would bring to these courses

I've been making Sasuke 30 in Minecraft, but I haven't exactly finished yet. Unlike Stryker I have no idea how to make those command blocks lol I don't play Minecraft much. Here's a preview though (Spoilered because it's not in the Sasuke 30 forum)

I finally am beginning to start on my 1st Stage, which would complete the course. The obstacles I have in mind are:
1. Long Jump 2. Original Obstacle (Two bridges, you can choose to cross either: one is just a thin iron bar bridge with two gaps [chance of falling into water but is straightforward shot to the end], the other bridge is a Netherrack bridge on fire with quartz blocks to vault over [no chance of falling off, but could burn to death if you don't reach the water block in time] 3. Spin Bridge (more like Big Balls considering it's all blocks, although I have a dumb theory that likely won't work) 4. Jump Hang 5. Warped Wall 6. Tarzan Rope 7. Rope Ladder

imgur.com/a/1a91zThe course. Some pics are blurry, sorry, hand injury made it a tad annoying to hold up. I've shown the 3rd Stage before, but I'm showing it again since I updated one of the obstacles (and new water pits!) 1ST STAGELong Jump Dual Paths (Inspired by the Main Deck in Viking. The thin bridge is safer, but easier to fail. The fire bridge is easier (in that unless you freak out, you won't fall off), but could waste a lot of time if you can't get through it cleanly. Spin Bridge (Get it? Nothing too difficult, although the mine carts might block your sight.) Jump Hang Warped Wall (Use the mine cart to get up to the top [or up to the black/white blocks]. You must do it over if you can't.) Tarzan Cross + Rope Ladder 2ND STAGENarrow Salmon Ladder (I like to think I thought of the Swap Salmon Ladder first) Spider Walk Broken Bridge Backstream Dirt Breaking 3RD STAGEIcicles imgur.com/9j5CdOFGlobe Grasp imgur.com/0XlSl5qCliffhanger imgur.com/spPrAu2Jumping Slabs imgur.com/yBXkD6mSpider Flip (certain update -- it's slightly easier, out of necessity) imgur.com/lWkyy1RVine Slider imgur.com/i0ikK8eFINAL STAGESpider Climb + Dirt Climb imgur.com/NF6G0HEFinal from ground level imgur.com/av4XecAAnd a special picture of Barry.

Did you get the Barry the sheep from the youtube channel GivMehDiamonds? On topic for me your third stage and final stage pictures won't load for me. Lastly, do you think you will do a competition on your course, like SMF Sasuke but minecraft of course. That would be pretty cool.

No actually, when I was making the 3rd Stage long ago, Barry spawned somehow and although usually I would knock animals off for messing around while I'm trying to do something, for some reason I was so perplexed by his appearance I just allowed him to stay up there until he fell off. He never did, so he's now my pet of sorts in that world. I've been watching a lot of Burn Notice again lately so I just named him after one of the characters. All the pictures work, sometimes Proboards doesn't load them properly. So I just edited them and took off the coding. I would like to host a competition in general, although I would have to describe everything via text a la Sim Sasuke/Proto Sasuke since I don't have screen capture stuff for my Xbox. If people would be down, I would totally host one.

In Minecraft version 1.8 its easier making a SASUKE course by using slime blocks as trampolines

I've actually been building a course in survival @_@ I should post pics of it when it's done. In Minecraft version 1.8 its easier making a SASUKE course by using slime blocks as trampolines I tried this when testing stuff for my course, but I can't come up with a way to use them that isn't too easy. Straight jumping on them does nothing, and if I use a piston to as a launcher, all you have to do is run onto the block and wait for it to launch. It seems a lot easier than what I used to use than the one-block-pushed-up-by-piston technique I used before @_@
