I think there were both some awesome and some not-so-awesome ideas in Sasuke Rising. The combination of old obstacles, reimagined obstacles, and completely brand new obstacles was very enjoyable and was a great start to this new era of Sasuke. Here's what I would do to the course for Sasuke 29: First Stage: 1) Quintuple Step 2) Rolling Log (still tough, but a higher success rate than the Rollig Escargot) 3) Spinning Bridge (I'd modify this to make it quite a bit easier; either have 3 balls or make them spin much less) 4) New Jump Hang 5) Warped Wall (the height should be midway between 28's 1st and 2nd Wall) 6) Final Climb Time Limit: 110 seconds Second Stage: 1) Cross Slider 2) Swap Salmon Ladder 3) Unstable Bridge (original one from 23-27) 4) Spider Walk 5) either Metal Spin or Reverse Conveyor Belt 6) Wall Lift (the original 1-17, 19-27 one) Time Limit: 115 seconds Third Stage: UNCHANGED Final Stage:

How about scrapping the whole course and start again. Maybe keep stage 3 the same. But def scrap the first and second stages

-twenty seconds off of total stage 2 time -old wall lifting -no swimming obstacle -one warped wall

I'd leave stage 1 the way it is. It wasn't the obstacles. I feel like the competitive field was weak. (If anything bring back the neshrita kabe before the large warped wall.)
Stage 2. 2 UBs. No water tank, bring in something else. That can actually take out a competitor. Bring back the old wall lifting.
Stage 3. Maybe change the pipe slider to make it harder. Everything else is great.

Stage 1: 1. Dome Steps 2. Sandan Rolling Escargot (Similar to Sandan Rolling Maruta and Rolling Escargot, Wheel with Bumpy Tracks) 3. Parley or Other Mental Obstacle 4. Jump Hang Kai 5. 2 Warped Walls (Not apart from each other but Back to Back. If they slip off the 2nd wall, they will have to start over fron the 1st wall.) 6. Spin Bridge (w/2 center balls(so people now have to use David Campbell's technique to clear this obstacle)) 7. Swing Mast (from Viking) 8. Rope Ladder (Back to Back w/Swing Mast) Time Limit: 120 Seconds
Stage 2: 1. Cross Slider 2. Swap Salmon Ladder 3. Unstable Bridge (2 Small Planks Far Apart From Each Other) 4. Sky Walk (Obstacles 2-4 are ALL Back to Back) 5. Backstream 6. Wall Passing (w/Bigger Slide after Backstream, Contestants must Shoot from Slide to a Wall with a Hole. From Hole, Contestants Will Jump To A Wall With No Hole. From there, they will jump onto a taller Wall and the Finish Line. (It will be just like the W-Wall from Viking) This whole obstacle is over water.) Time Limit: 150 seconds
Stage 3: 1. Rope Junction (Ropes Farther Apart) 2. Iron Paddler 3. Crazy Cliffhanger 4. Curtain Swing (Curtains Farther Apart) 5. Flying Bar 6. Pipe Slider (SASUKE 14-17 Length)(Obstacles 4-6 Back to Back) 7. Bar Glider (With more Bumps)(Same Bar Used for Obstacles 5-7)
Stage 4: 1. Spider Climb (15 Meters, Walls Start Splitting after 20 Seconds) 2. Double Rope Climb (10 Meters, 2 Ropes Side by Side) Time Limit: 45 Seconds

Stage 1: 2. Sandan Rolling Escargot (Similar to Sandan Rolling Maruta and Rolling Escargot, Wheel with Bumpy Tracks) 3. Parley or Other Mental Obstacle First off, the Sandan Rolling Escargot would not work. We've (meaning the people on this board) been over it many times, but suffice to say that physics would not be kind to it. For the Parley...no. I'm sorry, but math puzzles, or other mental puzzles, just don't fit into Sasuke.

stage 2: 1. cross slider 2. ssl + 3. spider walk 4. log jam (k7) 5. backstream (more water jets) 6. wall lifting time: 95 seconds
stage 3: 1. rumbling dice (higher off starting platform) 2. iron paddle (lower landing platform so that kanno cannot do that again) 3. devil steps or some other obstacle that involves climbing up 4. cch 5. curtain cling + 6. vertical limit 7. double devil swing + 8. pipe slider (14-17, a way longer jump)
Final Stage: 1. spider climb 15m, walls split after 20 seconds 2. 3 ropes (first 2 4m, last one 9m) time: 45 seconds

Would it be safe/possible to have the Unstable Bridge with one rope holding it in the middle?

Would it be safe/possible to have the Unstable Bridge with one rope holding it in the middle? 2nd board of the Unstable bridge had 1 rope. The first one was the one with 2.

I meant the chain holding up the board, is it feasible to have one chain in the middle of the board? So it can tip in any direction, not just side to side. I thought the second board had two chains/ropes, one at each end.

First stage: 1.No final net climb, replace with rope climb(5-17 version) 2.spinning bridge is maybe too difficult
Second stage: 1.Maybe new first obstacle? ( I liked cross slider, but it seems to be too easy) 2. remove UB (maybe flying bar?)
I liked whole course though.

Just saying... Everyone is underestimating the Cross Slider, everyone saying it's "Too Easy" needs to go do an arms only Spider Walk hold... and then stay there for long enough for the beeps to start and it to make its way down the track

I actually thought the first stage was perfect. Great time limit. Second stage, cut the time by about 15 or 20 seconds. Maybe add the Conveyor Belt. Third stage is perfect

For the 1st Stage, I'd possibly make the Spin Bridge slightly easier, maybe not make the balls as sensitive if possible (or make them with a surface that entails better traction), otherwise I think it's perfect. You'll only get a good time if you keep a steady, fast pace, otherwise you'll always cut it close. I like that. If I was forced to change the 1st Stage significantly, I'd put the Circle Slider after the Jump Hang Kai (or putting it before like with 17) while reducing the Soritatsu Kabe back to one wall. For the 2nd Stage, I'd bring back the second board for the Unstable Bridge, make the Backstream harder by having the jets harder to swim through, and for the Passing Wall, I'd make the first wall lighter, but add a little more resistance to the second wall while keeping the time limit the same. The plan is to keep everyone on their toes, if you want to beat the stage, you can't take your time. IF I had to raise the time limit, I'd just do 5 seconds or so. As for the 3rd Stage, if I can't fix the Iron Paddler (apparently it didn't work as expected), I'd replace it with the Ranpu Grasper (Globe Grasp). Or maybe just bring back the Arm Bike with more resistance. I could perhaps bring in the Ultimate Plank, just spells out SASUKE. But ultimately, I'd up the talent pool a little bit. Kouji and Li's fails show you can fall early on this course and Ryo's fail tells you you can underestimate a large time limit. 5/3/0 is fine for a debut tournament, but I at least would like to double the 1st Stage and 2nd Stage clear rate.

Overall, I liked stage 1. I would say: 1. Step Slider 2. Rolling log or Log Grip 3. Rolling Escargot 4. Jump Hang 5. Spinning Bridge 6. Warped Wall (possibly double walls) 7. Circle Slider ( Sasuke 25) 8. Final Climb Overall, Stage 2 was really good. The only edit I would make is the Sasuke 23-27 Unstable Bridge with a longer jump to the platofrm.
Stage 3 was good. Maybe make some minor edits to the Iron Paddle.

I think he means one with just one chain total mounted in the complete middle of the board, not the 2 chains in the middle of one end... What he's saying would be pretty impossible for it to actually work... EDIT: As for the passing wall, the first wall is the same weight the first wall of the Wall Lifting is... only difference seems to be the fact you're wet getting into it and the piece of foam to stop people from getting hurt sliding into it (but also it telling you where to grab kinda)

They should keep the first and third stages the same.
There's something I don't like about the second stage but I can't put my finger on it.
