Change is good and all and I can see why this category belongs up top with the news and updates category, but it just doesn't look right. It seems awkward to place it so high up where it's so easily visible as soon as the page loads.
In my opinion, it should be returned to where it was before.

i know what you mean, it looks bonkers to me right now, but please try to understand this is for the better of the forum. alot of people dont even see these sections at the bottom and miss out on tons of critical information. then we're stuck with tons of people PM'ing us over info they should have seen. while its not ideal, its common for almost all forums to have these boards where they are, and im surprised its taken us this long for them. you also have to remember we're stuck with a proboards update thats gonna change the whole forum completely, and we have no control over it besides create our own which nobody likes the idea of. the update itself is gonna disrupt the community, but please try to understand everything we do is trying to better the site as a whole. we have so many ideas for the future and cannot be possible without all our SMF'ers. so please, just give it sum time to adjust, and hopefully you guys will become accustomed to the new feel of SMF.

Sounds good. Just a mental note though through the years I've been with you guys. No one reads anything anyway and PM's you guys because they are lazy as all hell.. so changing things around won't help  What Proboards does is kinda unfortunate.. but don't change because you think one time users will actually read any of this stuff  My PM box tells me otherwise  Tehhehehe |

I've never seen a feedback section so high up on another forum. They're usually kept lower because you don't need to see them constantly. The news category makes sense, but the suggestions one doesn't. They don't need to be kept together for organization purposes. More of an OCD, really.
When is that proboards update coming anyway? Should probably brace myself for that.
