Excited about this. Can I help you with courses?

As of right now I am not worried about building more courses; I am more focused on getting an accurate algorithm for existing courses. Once that is construed (big words yay), I will figure out a way to translate that into future new obstacles. Then, you may help me with my courses.
For the record I am conducting a series of tests on a 25 competitor field. Those results will be posted when I feel I have a suitable sample size.

How do you determine the attributes for a competitor? Would someone be able to provide their own to simulate how far they would likely make it on a course?

I base the attributes based on the competitor's history on the obstacle. For instance Kinnikun Nakayama's chance of clearing the Rolling Escargot is 50% based on him failing in 27. I made many of the attributes before 28 and docked competitors an average of 20 points for the obstacle they failed in 28 (I assume "some people failed some things" isn't spoilers)

Unlike Sim Sasuke, will this ACTUALLY be downloadable?

Probably. I'll at least water the release version down so that people don't go and make 20 tournament series (most of the reason Sheep didn't release Sim SASUKE).

Looks awesome. Can you release the prototype, even though it's not a full program yet?

UPDATE
Proto SASUKE v0.4 is well under way. There are currently 162 competitors in the system from at least 6 different countries. In addition I have built a fairly reliable First Stage, which bases the obstacle probabilities based on common attributes rather than pre-defined obstacle thresholds. There is also a time function, something v0.02 lacked.
Once v0.4 is done I will consider releasing v0.02 if enough people ask.
EDIT: First Stage is done. Now to add attributes.

I vote for releasing VO.02, and would you release 4 too at a later time?

The purpose of v0.4 is not to be released because it is intentionally incomplete. I will consider releasing v0.02, but I'm not 100% sure about that just yet.

Will we be able to put our own competitors into the simulator?

I suppose you could with a bit of manipulation.

Second Stage is completed. I will be trying to get a Proto SASUKE competition out in a few weeks.

How many competitions a year can we expect? Also can you send me the newest version of Proto Sasuke? Thanks!

I have no idea how many competitions per year there will be - probably one a month - but the first competition will probably be around Valentine's Day.

UPDATE:
Progress is going way faster than expected (maybe that was the result of spending 12 hours in the last 3 days working on this). The results have been generated and I am currently typing up the first competition's broadcast. I expect to be able to post the first tournament on Friday.
