Uhhhm, the first guy didn't hit the water, he just barely caught the edge and the floating island itself caused the splash, in Takeda's case he just hit the water... as for Kunoichi... that was only for the Buranco in 8, that was a rule exclusive for that obstacle (and in the most f*** the rules tournament) since it's designed to have you drop high onto a floating island they put that rule in just for that obstacle in case it sank a little, anywhere else you dip you're still out... and the Escargot does not have that rule... (Neither did the Circle Hammer or Curtain Slider which also had floating islands)

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who found the transition from Nagano panting to the second stage jarring.

I rely on my notes when I saw the show live. I don't amend (unless it's to add translations after the fact, etc) what my initial viewing was. Even if it was wrong. That's what happened in my book at the time. I was not the only one that saw the other guy touch the water. Even Ube did in the first run and that's on his blog as well. I've been following your blog since 2008 and the spoilerific reviews get better each time. Great job!

Wow really? I hadn't realized how long some of the SMF'ers have been following. I tried my old approach this time. In the past year I've been so much into "getting it right" that I stopped mostly with the humor. I went back to it and it seems people enjoyed it more. I for one am happy because I had a lot more fun with it .. LOL I can't believe it will be 5 years in March. Doesn't seem possible it's been that long..

Yeah, long before I knew what SMF was, haha. Yeah, me too. I always enjoy these blogs. I mean, I'm disappointed with the All-Stars' results in this tournament (and no Kenji! Why, TBS???), but I definitely enjoyed reading the blog.

Wow really? I wonder what percentage came from RR first? Hmm.. I know I have longtime readers that had no connection to Webjam, G4 boards or SMF that found it through Google or another search engine and just check the site periodically but didn't realize there were SMF'ers that came here FROM RR.. wow!

Well, I found out about SMF from your blog. I wanted to watch Sasuke 23 when it aired, but didn't know how. You directed me to this site.

Proud to be one of the few SMF originals - and one of the few still around.
