This poll is probably completely pointless, but here it is anyway. This is my first attempt at a poll, so it's probably not much good.
Sorry if the top two choices sort of mean the same thing.

I really wish I could pick more than 1 answer out of the choices. I said that since the All-Stars will do well in Sasuke 28, they'll return.

No offense, but haven't you guys been paying attention to the other threads? They're never going to compete again, and that's all there is to it. I'm going to miss them competing too, but the decision is final.

Yeah, the all-stars will not compete again................except for yamada. I mean come on, for him, sasuke is his life. In his mind, there is just no way that he can leave sasuke permanently, for the lust for kanzenseiha is too much for him.

There will definitely be a huuuuge disapproval of what they do when they say that the All-stars are being retired.

Let's not forget that TV is a business. If they intend to keep SAUSKE (and I hope they do) they will need ratings. I think if 29 has a major dip in ratings, and 30 does too, then they will consider it. 30 may get some ratings because it's an anniversary tournament, so if 29 and 31 get terrible ratings, SASUKE could either be cancelled, invite the all-stars, or do something new. The odds they return are low, and SASUKE would probably be cancelled if the above scenario occured. The sole way I could see them coming back would be from a major ratings dip. But even then, assuming SASUKE becomes annual instead of semi-annual, Shingo will be approaching 40. He'll be the youngest. Retiring them now saves them the embarrassment Yamada has endured. If they bring them back, it's a one-trick poney. In conclusion, they're not coming back due to age and logic. But the only way they could comeback would be a major ratings dip. But even then, SASUKE would most likely be cancelled. It's on thin-ice as is anyway.

Blind that's my exact take as well on the subject. They'll Kill Sasuke first before bringing them back especially if this turns into a yearly event as it's rumored to do so if 28 goes well.

If the All-Stars were younger then bringing them back as a contingency plan for low ratings would make sense. However, by the time SASUKE 30 rolls around (the earliest opportunity they would be able to return, as they obviously would not be back for 29), every All-Star would be 40 years old or higher. Relying on the athletic ability of retired athletes age 40+ doesn't seem like the best long-term solution, and TBS probably knows that.
The possibility of an All-Star return in SASUKE 30 probably isn't impossible in case SASUKE 29 is just a disaster, but I highly doubt it. TBS will probably start hyping up a new group of stars such as Yuuji, Ryo, and Li/Okuyama if he doesn't retire.
Also, even in the unlikely scenario that TBS does invite the All-Stars to SASUKE 30, how many of them would even return?
Nagano seems perfectly happy with this being his last tournament and is probably relieved that the pressure of expectations is gone after SASUKE 28.
Takeda retired after 26 and is making an official "last appearance" in 28. Also, his job kind of prevents him from returning.
Shingo would probably return given the opportunity simply because never missing a tournament is kind of his thing...
Yamada would be 49 years old. That's only five years younger than Minoru Kuramochi in his first tournament.
Akiyama was pretty much retired before this anyway.
Shiratori is old, injured, and retired. As great as he was in his prime, he would be 47 in SASUKE 30 and coming off years of injury. He isn't coming to 28, and he wouldn't compete given an invitation.
Even if the All-Stars were invited back by SASUKE 30, a maximum of two would even accept the invitation. Furthermore, the probability that they (Yamamoto and Yamada) would pass the First Stage two years from now is slim for Yamamoto and zero for Yamada. The All-Stars will probably still attend SASUKE tournaments, but compete in future SASUKEs? Not going to happen. Three of the six were retired anyway, Nagano is probably anticipating retirement from SASUKE, and the only two All-Stars that would potentially accept invites would not do well in competition. No chance.

I'm going to miss them competing too, but the decision is final. Don't worry, I have being paying attention. I'm just being incredibly optimistic, that's all. BTW, I never expected ANYONE to vote for the "He changes his mind" option.

I think we all know that shingo wants to keep that attendance streak alive so of course he will come back after sasuke 28 for 29 and 30.

"Other" In an ESPNesque move, the retired All Stars return in Sasuke 30/31 as announcers/analysts.

Part of this depends how far they will go now in S 28. I think if some of them would make it to 3rd stage or someting like that, we have small chance to see them again(I know, but I want to believe) Howewer I think that Yamada, Takeda and Akiyama will compete last time, we all know their reasons.
