I have a feeling its one of the guys who regularly post on the G4 NW forum, and have tried in the past. I'd be shocked if its ultimasker, but I don't hang out there much. Have guys like Seedman or Ryan been missing lately? I think Ruselis knows something, but ain't sayin'. Just one more thing to drive us nuts for the next two weeks.

I have a feeling either Arsenette or Lostinube will have the answer by the end of the day

Well we know it isn't Rus or .. wait... nah Strat said he didn't get an invite and it was like Friday or something like that. I haven't seen Rick or Joe or Ryan lately either. Maybe Colin? That's provided it's from ANC.. dangit we have to slap David for peeking our interest.

Perhaps by special guest appearance David was referring to someone who was there but didn't actually run the course. But then again even if it was ulti, there's no way David would know if he will make it on the broadcast (even if he was filmed). I'm guessing it's somebody famous enough to be broadcast. I'll just wait and see

If it's a G4 person, David would be justified in hyping them since G4 would more than likely show them on their broadcast. This is a case where it's easier to say who it couldn't have been. For example: Bryan Clay's twitter feed puts him training at the time. Phelps did a Today Show interview on the 12th and he was photographed here during the week in California: www.pakiscorner.com/2009/03/michael-phelps-pakis-corner-fan.htmlAlso, would it be very smart for Phelps to do this kind of appearance while he's on suspension and is currently making an "I'm sorry" tour?

I know I should have but for some reason I didn't expect he'd be at 22.
And if you're trying to see that new obstacle, David is so determined not to let us know he's trying to block it! XD

Wait, does that mean the guy David was talking about was Paul Terek? Bummer. Nothing against him, but I was getting my hopes set on seeing Kane or Michael Phelps. Anyone think he'll beat the Jumping Spider this time?

He may not necessarily be the special guest.
And why are people so determined to see Phelps?

It's probably not determination, but probably seems like TBS would invite someone with a world record for most gold medals. Well thats why I suspect him anyways.

Paul Anthony Terek! Yes, I'm excited that he's finally competing again.
I'm not sure why everyone is expecting Phelps. Yes, it would be great if he could compete, however, that is VERY unrealistic. Would TBS want to invite someone like him? Absolutely, I don't see why they wouldn't try to get him. Would Phelps compete on a Japanese gameshow? Probably not. Even if he was a fan of the show like Brian Clay, I don't think he would with his schedule or because of the injury risk. So, in short, would it be cool if Phelps competed? Yea definitely. Would I set my hopes so high to not be excited for the confirmation of a guy like PAT? No, because getting Phelps is more of a nice fantasy as I see it.

YEE Paul Anthony Terek! I am actually really pumped to see him. As I remember it, he destroyed the 1st stage in 17, and that was epic to watch, of course, there's nothing to prove that he'll do well on the new course, but still, man...

Sasuke 19 was a good indicator of what he could do. He overpowered every single obstacle and was flying through the course. I thought he did the Jumping Spider well, but his foot slipped and he fell there. If he beat that, I think he could have overpowered the rest of the obstacles in the 1st Stage.

Now don't get me wrong, Paul ANTHONY Terek in Sasuke 22 is awesome, a rather pleasant surprise that I genuinely didn't expect, and I enjoy surprises. And I'm not greedy so usually I wouldn't ask for anything more.
However, David DID say that we would **** our pants. I value the wearable condition of my pants, I don't mess them up over just anyone. I refuse to ruin my pants when hearing Terek's name. Brian Clay would make me come close to requiring a change of legwear. Michael Phelps would be a definite soil. ultimask8er would end up with a trip to the hospital.
I apologise if there is a little too much information in this post.

LMFAO Gazza I love that description of soilage going in overdrive yes.. sk8ter would send me to the hospital.. Obakemono we say his middle name in caps because of Sportsman #1 specifically.. granted in Sasuke as well.. the announcer was so enamoured with his middle name he said is louder than his first or last name.. it sounded like that.. Paul AAAAAAANNNTTTONYYYY Tereku.. Ube even pointed that out in the few Sportsman #1's he was in.. it was practically a drinking game it was so over the top. Drink if you hear ANTHONY!!.. you'd be drunk in 10 minutes.
