interesting , you don't have to be Malaysian to sign up Uhm.. no that's implied in the title. At least I think it is given that the 100 that ran last year were all Malaysians.

Something of an update from Sasuke Malaysia's Facebook page:
In order words, don't rehash, send a new one with our instructions. I know it JUST got posted, but I hope this gets out there for the sake of it.

Let's hope season 1 would air BEFORE season 2 starts. Tell me about it Seems it's going through censorship for about a month now.. you'd think they have it ready.. no word on what station yet though but seriously.. airing just before SM2 might bring a bigger crowd. Well it's now April, and still no news for broadcast of SEASON 1 of SASUKE Malaysia (which was taped last year in May). Well I guess I was right (sort of) : Alot of good info in the article that Arsenette posted: -NW27 will be in March next year -Spinning Bridge is called the Pendulum Balls in the article A lot of other good stuff is in there. Be warned though, there is a pic in the article that is spoilers for a major competitor. NW27 in March 2012??? That's ridiculous. That's 8 MONTHS after the taping of the show. If SASUKE Malaysia is going to air (I assume both trial and SASUKE part together), then it will be around April ~ July 2012, since the rest of the world buys NW version. That's also ridiculous. Trial was taped in May. That mean they don't get to watch it on TV, a WHOLE year after trial? WTF....... But then again this is G4 we're talking about. They don't give a crap about NW.

Yeah I'm a bit disappointed. The last news I heard was them putting that weather challenge then the app for the May event and that's pretty much it. Not a peep after that I know the censoring process for the show takes time.. but not THAT long

Ok it's now May, and there hasn't been so much promotion from SASUKE Malaysia. Also there is still no news about broadcast of "season 1" (although at this point, I pretty much gave up since it's almost FULL year since the taping. I guess they only shot RAW footage and didn't prepared for TV station to broadcast.) Seems to me there's more promotion for SASUKE Singapore than Malaysia at this moment. Let's hope SASUKE Malaysia won't get scrapped, and put an egg on Singapore only. Granted I might be jumping conclusion, considering that application is due this Friday (May 4th), maybe there might be announcement by next week or so.
Come on Malaysia, get in the game! ;D

No.. you are not the only one.. trust me on this. There's been frustration on how there's no promotion since the tourney taped last year. I do believe the deadline is this week (not the 1st but the.. 5th?) so hopefully we'll hear something soon.

So... it's a trials for a trials? Yes. They want to sift out the ones that aren't ready for SS. They are doing auditions for EVERYONE applying for SS. Still though I had to get clarification for the HBN event. What it means is that SS is technically "under" SM since SM is the host organizer for all events in SE Asia now. 5 people from SM2 will go to SS as guests and compete in SS. Top 1 from the 5 Malaysians and the top 1 Singaporean will go to Sasuke Japan. Hope that helps with the confusion. I had to have that explained to me.. LOL

Oh boy, there's going to be a lot of foreigners at 28 if America still gets 10 slots. If you add Lee you end up with 17 total, if not more.

I hope it's not 10.. (you know my stance on that so it's no surprise) SS and SM are only getting 1 each though.. so not sure where you are getting the number.

Ah I misread you. You said 5 Malaysians so I got confused.
As for americans, David should definitely get a spot. Doesn't matter if he does awesome or terribly at ANW4, he has proven his worth more than any other american.
Perhaps they'll send some based off of ANW4 performances though, Personally I'd just rather see the stage 3 people from last time get another shot.

I think there will be 3, just like Sasuke 25. Probably David, Brent, and maybe Paul.

We can leave that for another thread That can go so many ways.. and it will include spoilers so wait a bit before making that thread As for this one. SM2 is in 2 weeks. SS will be 2 weeks after that. Hopefully as the summer gets here we'll hear more about 28. In the meantime seems SM is expanding territory.

FINALLY! It's about time SASUKE Malaysia starts promoting, after a long period of time. It is pretty interesting that SASUKE Singapore is part of SASUKE Malaysia, which explains a similar logo.
Let's hope "season 1" (you know, the one taped back last year) would air soon (if ever) to give audience a basic idea of the show.
