It just gives the illusion of being intense really... most of the time people failed it because they lost too much time elsewhere on the course, the Rope Ladder makes it possible for someone to fail because of any obstacle... It may be slower paced but in a sense it's more exciting since anything could happen

New pic. pics.lockerz.com/s/263705557I think it's some kind of rope climb as the last obstacle, not the rope ladder. Also, SASUKE is edited in final cut??? LOL. I wish it were a higher res picture so I could demystify everything there. Damn.. I want that editor.. but I don't have 10 grand laying around.. LOL

Nah I miss the feel of the jog wheels of a real pro editing machine. I know it can me minor for some people but I really prefer the real ones. Call me old school

It's intense precisely because people took time on other obstacles, but it was something fast paced at the end which could be completed quickly when done right. It was incredibly exciting - just like the conveyor belt/wall lift combo of earlier Sasuke's when stage 2 had a really short time limit. Stage 1 should be about speed, and it had already become really long with too many obstacle - having a slow net climb at the end was lame, especially having it for 10 tournaments.

I mean it gives the illusion of being intense because like I said... it's not really the Rope Climb that really did the work... it was the rest of the course... it was cool to watch but it never really did much on its own... like it or not the Rope Ladder was able to directly stop more people than the Rope Climb did...

Does anyone think some obstacles from Okada's Monkey Park or from Shinya's FS Park are there?

I'd prefer the faster rope climb over the ladder anyday

Who cares if the rope ladder was able to directly stop people? It doesn't make it a fun to watch obstacle. I don't care about the failures - that's also why the warped wall is really uninteresting most of the time. Seeing a no-named person try to reach it for 50 seconds is lame. They didn't make it the first 10 times so they probably arn't going to make it at all. It's just lame to watch. And I already said in my post it was the rest of the course, so I'm not sure what you're trying to argue - I just think the rope climb was a faster paced and more intense finisher to the course.

Plus, the Rope Climb was a good way to judge someone's strength. It was fun watching someone like Ishimaru or Kota Honma struggle up the rope whilst the total show-offs like Nagano, Akiyama and Koji sprinted up it It makes me wonder how fast Yuuji or Ryo would be on it.

OK, and why did you think it was lame exactly? Because it had no point, and Sasuke isn't a macho man weight lifting contest. I don't see where you're going with this. Like I said, I don't like time wasters in general unless it is fast paced.

I consider the Unstable Bridge to be a time waster nowadays. Hope it's not in 28 unless as the last obstacle in Stage 2.

I'm saying it's an obstacle that seems fast paced to watch but all it is was a useless time waster that didn't do much on its own and can't directly make someone fail... just like the Rope Climb *runs away before I get hate-mail for making a valid point of how similar the Tackle Machine and Rope Climb are*
