Didn't want this to get lost in the shuffle, so I thought to start a separate thread. Nagasaki's blog for today is...SASUKE Training, and shows him practicing the cliffhanger. Cool beans, huh?

Hopefully both of the brothers are. This is great news indeed (for the moment, assuming he does go).

Well, this is (or certainly could be) good news! And I agree, I hope both brothers come as well.

If he really does show up, we may finally get to see it. We may be able to see a heads up speed showdown between Shunsuke and Levi (interestingly enough, also a question of showing up, but a likelihood). And should Takamasa show up, we may be watching the future of Sasuke become assured.
I gotta tell you folks, I am officially pumped up for Sasuke 22.

Thanks, Rider. I meant to do that, but I can't link for squat. I was hoping somebody else would sooner or later.

Good thing he redesigned it, too - I don't think he was prepared when he failed it in 18! You saw him stare at that Cliff Hanger for a long time after he fell then; I think he was just using his own Cliff Hanger v3.0 when he and Takamasa trained. Hopefully now, if Shunsuke shows up, he gets past it.

Well heres the entry itself. ameblo.jp/shun-tr/entry-10206647472.htmlAnd I made sure I hosted the image myself, don't want to kill Nagasaki's bandwith. Was anyone really prepared for the 18th course? Did anyone really expect trampoline to a spider walk.. in stage 1. Did anyone expect the Salmon ladder, did anyone expect a jump in the Cliffhanger at all? And if you've seen his profiles on Sasuke you would know he does jump on his V3 cliffhanger, (both up and down). And I don't know if it was accurate the interview subs on G4 said that he said after failing in 18 "I thought I could jump it but it was farthur than I thought" or something like that.

And yet, he didn't even exactly jump to grab the third ledge - he had long enough arms to try to stretch across, but his grip gave out.
No, I know no one was prepared for 18, but I'm talking about Shunsuke in particular. I'm saying that next time he meets the Cliff Hanger v4.0, it may well be Shunsuke coming out on top.

YES! This is great news. It's also great that he updated his cliffhanger. He'll be much more prepared this time around and will hopefully beat it. I'm not sure if this is correct, but Google Translate translated that it said in his blog that he thinks the hardest stage is the first. Hopefully, he won't have problems on the flying chute again. Although, he was IMO the closest competitor to beating the flying chute who just didn't get it. He probably would have had it if he would have waited until the second rebound, and then, maybe Sasuke 19 would have been more like Sasuke 5.

Like I said the subs said, he said that he thought it was too far to jump. And it's not like he even really got on there, he just barely got his arms across. I think he would get far into the stage if he beats the Cliffhanger, I'd say maybe the Gliding Ring. Hell, he was the first to make it to the Final Stage since they added the Jumping Bars-Climbing Bars and Devil's Swing. (Although he was kind of upstaged by.. You know.. Nagano winning )

Yep, he wrote that he thinks the hardest stage is the first. And that he wants to be the first to beat the 3rd stage after the renewal. And that, of course, he's going for Total Victory.
Sounds to me like he's coming to 22, wouldn't you say?

Shunsuke knows it's been 2 years- but nobody's gonna tell him he can't feel that good again.
