Sweet! A competitor list! Too bad though that Takahashi and Okuyama aren't there. The same goes for Kishimoto. BTW, Kuramochi is there and has #53! He got a higher number than Koji!

Sorry Inui but it had to be done www.majhost.com/gallery/manaleader/AvatarXXTen/88yuuji90kaneko.jpgSeriously though... I get the All-Stars thing but I thought Yuuji would have been 95... not 88.. unless this really was randomized aside from the All-Stars and the Shin Sei had a lucky coincidence... It took me a while to click who she was, I was scrolling the list and suddenly I see her and look at her for a couple minutes and go "I feel like I should know who she is." before I did a quick Google translation. Maybe if she had the bandanna I'd remember her quicker Dude I said the same thing when I was brain farting about that one picture before we had the answer, when I found out it was her I said the same thing you said lol 27 finalists are at 87 and 88 respectively. Farid 'Cat' Isham is No. 92. Mika Izumi (the kanji is translated as Mika Watanabe though), Kunoichi 3 finalist is listed as 82. Married name perhaps. It is, lfrt mentioned that several times a while back, I just couldn't remember what her family name was now

Also, the two Americans failed the Double Salmon Ladder and both were digested by NBC in both stages. Have to say I'm a bit surprised that Derek Nakamoto didn't get an invite... NBC seemed to love him and he was hanging out with Nagano alot (at least based on what they showed), not to mention being one of only 3 people to even make it to the Metal Spin

Notes on 51 - 100
Akinori Murakami was in SASUKE 21. He is actually an STQer. Also, his name is spelled Murkami throughout SASUKEpedia. Can someone please correct that?
Hiroyuki Egawa was in SASUKE 25 as the Mie prefecture rep.
Koji Fujinami was in SASUKE 18 and 20.

Mental note, don't look at the numbers. Or at least not all of them.

(I think) Actually double checked, he failed the Lamp Grasper, was almost near the end, also evidently during ANW4 he was recovering from being sick so he might be better now than he was during regionals

I was also surprised that Yuuji got 88, seems low for him. I would have thought he would have been 95, right after the all stars. After thinking about it a while, I don't know if they have numerology in Japan, but in actuality 88 is a really great number in Chinese numerology. It means double prosperity/happiness.
I'm actually shocked that Kouji is #40. Why so low? He made it to stage 3 in sasuke 27 and he's been very consistent.

I'm actually surprised Asa Kazuma got a low number. He should be ahead of Kaneko, and Yuuji Should be #95.

Ehh, maybe to shake things up. It's not that much of a twist... I mean his number was half what it is in 27... And it could also be to spread things out, most of the big name competitors are late in the running, possibly Kouji got put low so we could have someone with a great shot of clearing early? Might also be due to the fact Inui admitted to not being as familiar with the new stars, I'm sure he must be familiar with Kouji but maybe looked at past numbering and figured Kouji was usually somewhere around the middle? (Considering only 3 of his 7 prior attempts, he only was in the final 30 for 3 times)

I'm actually surprised Asa Kazuma got a low number. He should be ahead of Kaneko, and Yuuji Should be #95. Agreed, especially the 95 part... I just don't understand how Kaneko got such a high number... I mean sure he cleared stage 1 but so did 26 other people... and of all of them he was The only person to backflip on the DSL... In fact the only person to backflip on the obstacle since the introduction of the Salmon Ladder (Not counting ANW stuff)... I mean even Naoki in 26 wasn't that bad... He didn't flip before hitting the other side...

Hey now, Kaneko didn't flip, he landed pretty much neck/head first.

Hey now, Kaneko didn't flip, he landed pretty much neck/head first. OK fine... He was the only person to ever do a vertical 180 on any form of the Salmon Ladder in Sasuke... Even if you're going to be anal about calling it a flip, he still sucked at the obstacle
