Actually my friend who helped me decipher the Japanese I couldn't read (I can speak and listen pretty damn well but my reading is terrible) said that they wanted you to showcase your homemade set to show the passion you have for Sasuke, but not necessarily show yourself jumping around on it.
The red ranger was a "suit actor" ie, he only shows up for the fight scenes where the regular actors might get sweaty and uncomfortable in the plastic suit. Even though he is an unknown, that TV connection was enough to have the camera man on him a lot and the producers showering him with interest.
I think that wasn't the Tokyo tryouts but an event to win a present at a department store. If you can break 30 as a guy or 10 as a girl you win. I wish I knew about that because I could've won a present. In Japan, I found that people classify pullups as head just below the bar then chin above the bar rather than fully down then back up. 30 pullups fully down and back up is pretty rough, but the head just below the bar thing is relatively easy.
I'm not sure if the %117 or whatever in between words is crucial to understanding the message, but from what I can read (and look up in a dictionary, once again I can speak Chinese but reading is weak) he's saying that, "there's a quote saying 'you can only truly focus on one thing and when you do the universe will come to help you.' I don't feel that (you can only focus on only one thing)." The next part I don't quite understand fully but I think it says that he's very thankful for the help and support of his sister and that he'll double his efforts.

Actually my friend who helped me decipher the Japanese I couldn't read (I can speak and listen pretty damn well but my reading is terrible) said that they wanted you to showcase your homemade set to show the passion you have for Sasuke, but not necessarily show yourself jumping around on it. Oh... Well then something got mistranslated either here or by your friend considering all the talk was about what kind of video was wanted not using replicas. The red ranger was a "suit actor" ie, he only shows up for the fight scenes where the regular actors might get sweaty and uncomfortable in the plastic suit. Even though he is an unknown, that TV connection was enough to have the camera man on him a lot and the producers showering him with interest. Oh, one of them, here I was going tokusatsu geek wondering which red it was . He'd probably have a profile showing off the flips and fighting he's done in whichever series he was in. At least they are familiar with using the right kind of trampoline But the only Sentai suit actor I remember being relevant to Sasuke was Tanabe/Nishimura Chie, and obviously she wasn't a Red Ranger I think that wasn't the Tokyo tryouts but an event to win a present at a department store. Well, it may not be trials but it's still somewhat relevant considering it was Wakky, he's been around Sasuke enough.

I saw Hashimoto and Kanno chilling out after their group finished so I can only assume they made it to the second part of the auditions. I didn't see Tajima at all, but he may have been in the afternoon auditions.

If you're talking about the thing with Wakky and Okada, that question was already answered...

I found the blog of the people hosting that Wakky and Okada event. lumine.laff.jp/blog/ Apparently Okada did 58 pullups in a row which is damn impressive. To be honest, I have no idea where this event is held and what the deal is with the blog. It appears to be a talent agency or something as far as I can work out, but as I said I really can't figure it out.

It's a Yoshimoto Kogyo (the biggest talent agency for comedians in Japan) event.

I didn't think this called for its own thread, but had no idea which topic to put it in. Anyways found footage of someone at Sasuke Trials in Sendai.
