Actually I had a different post idea but no worries this works I'm saying good. I wasn't sure how 29 will go.

Retiring the All-Stars after SASUKE 28 will not pay off in my opinion. Sure, the format and direction of the show is changing and the decision makes some sense, removing the most vital part of a show from the show seems like a bad move. SASUKE 28, in my opinion, will do quite well since it will incorporate all six All-Stars, but for the future of SASUKE as a whole? I doubt it will pay off.
The All-Stars seem too iconic to the show to just retire them and expect the show to still succeed. Nagano might be far past his prime, but there's nobody else with that kind of star power. Shingo's perfect attendance record has to draw some views, too. Yamada probably made for some half-decent TV as well. Removing that aspect of the show from SASUKE, in my opinion, will hurt SASUKE in the long run.
Removing the All-Stars and replacing them with international contestants seems like a desperate move to revitalize the show. Not recognizing people like Yuuji, Li En zhi, and Okuyama as the "next generation" (at least not much) also hurts as ever since SASUKE 25 the All-Stars have struggled severely.
SASUKE 28 should be wonderful. SASUKE 29 and on? Maybe not so much. Nagano and Shingo were fan favorites, and TBS isn't doing much to fill the void after they retire.

I think it will work out good...if you stop looking at it as a continuation of Sasuke. It's more like a reboot at this point. The current All-Stars are out, the course is being totally redone, there's a new director...it's like starting from the beginning. I think that's what they are going for. And if so, it could go on quite a bit longer.

Now let me stop you right there... We know they're going to retire, we know the format of the show is changing, we know everyone but the all stars have to audition for 28... but we know nothing of what they're doing to fill the void after the All Stars.. Why don't we wait until after 28 before we talk about them not filling the void, because for 28 there is no void YET, it will be after 29 where we know how they "fill the void"

I can't make a decision until I see EXACTLY what the plan is...

I can't make a decision until I see EXACTLY what the plan is... I totally agree, glad to see I'm not alone seeing how this plays out. I mean I know that we know the basic structure of what the show is going to turn into but I want to see exactly how they go with it...

The poll doesn't make sense. The question is "Will Sasuke 28 be good for the show or bad?" and the answers are Yes and No...
