Inui was clear that they can be there to cheer people on.. in the stands.. this is their last competition. Nothing is stopping them from being spectators. Though you guys seem to be missing the whole message TBS is saying.. "time to move on".. I highly doubt Nagano of all people would ignore the hint.. regardless of how we all feel about the situation.

Half of them have already either retired of cut back their appearances to begin with. For them it's more of an obligation these days and given how much the show is changing it's a good way for them to leave now.
