Good point. Fincli is pretty much going to kick everyone's a**es I wouldn't be surprised if one of them achieves total victory! Umm. No. Nobody achieves total victory on their first try. Nobody.

Umm. No. Nobody achieves total victory on their first try. Nobody. cough.. Akiyama.. cough.. Thanks for clarifying arsenette. It's such a sad thing that lot of people don't remember Akiyama as a champion or mention so much about it. His recognition is worse than Yuuji. (then again Akiyama hasn't been in tournament for a while, and G4 especially don't make so much fuss about it : .

I think he meant that no one will win on his first attempt at Sasuke as a whole. Akiyama won in Sasuke 4, which was his first attempt on the final stage, but his 3rd attempt at Sasuke as a whole. But yeah, I agree, Akiyama doesn't get the recognition he deserves.

He didn't "test" out things before he got to it as implied by the concept that no one will win Ninja Warrior Europe on their first try. Besides.. Akiyama still stands as my favorite of the All-stars and I'll defend him

Think the Brits will have their annoying NW commentator in the background?

Think the Brits will have their annoying NW commentator in the background? Dunno. The one that dubs the British version is Challenge and they aren't even associated with this.

challenge will take nothing to do with it as there parent sky wont take anything to do with it, they only buy it in and broadcast it, once the details are released for the European trials, i highly doubt they will be in the uk and most probably wont be advertised on challenge

FYI - I've been seeing "Mipcom" being tossed around in the press releases: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MipcomMipcom seems to be the Cannes Film Festival equivalent for television. Ironically, it's also being held in Cannes, France. So those of you in Europe better high-tail it to France if you want to get on SASUKE. Mipcom 2012 runs from October 8 to 11, this Monday through Thursday. No mention of SASUKE has been made on the Mipcom website. EDIT: Just looked over the Mipcom website. Seems to be more of a four-day conference than an actual spectator event. Tickets are well over 600 euros and there's still no mention of SASUKE so this is probably like a pitch or demonstration they're doing next week. Odds are, no European SASUKE as we are expecting it (for 28 at least) unless they set up something in the parking lot for the general public to try which I'm doubting.

Yep, just edited my post. I guess we'll have to wait until next week to see if any news filters in.

Again I'm just expecting that a demo will be set up at Mipcom, not an actual trial

Again I'm just expecting that a demo will be set up at Mipcom, not an actual trial It's not a trial.. or demo.. it's a paper presentation at an industry convention alog with 100 other worldwide corporate big wigs.. At best there might be a video showing old Sasuke stuff to show other corporate people what the show will look like. It's for recruiting buyers and possible city acquisition. It's all flow charts and ratings information data.

Heh if that's figuratively I'd love to see the mock up.. but yes that's the point of using the conference as a way to get to the international broadcasters in one place. Unsure if we'll hear anything come out of that so soon but I'll see what I can find. Feel free to look as well This is going to be big.
