TVants and JET TV

Keyhole as a program will never go away but I'm pretty sure it's not meant to be used for streaming TV stations. It's supposed to be a way for people to be able to broadcast themselves, sort of like an internet public access station.

Those who have kanji enabled on their computers should be looking for the TBS with 日本 attached to it on TVAnts, not 韓国 which is South Korea.

Thanks Ube. I usually turn on KeyHole.. see what's on.. then turn on TVAnts and compare the feed I'm too noobish to figure out any other way

P.S. has anyone figured out if the JET thing is totally fubarred and it's a tape of the same day over and over?

I could not even find JET on TVants, I'll look into it if someone can tell me how to get it.

TBS is for Sasuke, but I missed why JetTV is so important.

JetTV shows all the old tournaments in their original form, plus chinese subtitles added. its not cut up like G4 cuts ninja warrior.

I wouldn't get your hopes up for the JET TV feed- looks to be pooched. But the TBS Japan stream seems OK for now. Hopefully it'll work on March 30th!!

Whats out there besides Keyhold and TVants, i've having problems at times with TVA and from what i've heard KH is not reliable either. Any other suggestions? I really dont want to be out in the cold on the 30th

I wouldn't call keyhole unreliable...it's always available and TBS is always it's just that the picture and sound quality is quite bad and the picture does freeze at times.

Just now i searched for TBS on TVA and got no results. Anyone else having this problem?

Correction: Am getting results now, but Japan TBS is off.

Unfortunately outside of JNet (which is a pay service but is of superior quality... better be for that amount of money) there is no free one left.

I've been checking TBS on keyhole for a couple of weeks, and it's working fine. I should try to watch at the same time as Sasuke 22 will air, but I don't want to get up that early.

Okay it worked perfectly for me this morning. Anyone brave the morning and watch it as well? Your thoughts? I think it will work just fine for Sasuke.

I did watch the first hour (saw Nagano and turned it off. I was getting lonely watching it by myself......). My main complaint was the amount of times it had to stop and buffer itself, although that could have just been my internet connection. Other than that, I actually think the picture was clearer than LiveStation had been. So long as the channel quality is good on 3/30, I think TVants is a go for Sasuke 22.

Wow mine never stopped to buffer. Could have been your internet connection. And heck I even had the same feed running through VLC and that was a minute behind the main one. LOL I had those 2 going AND using Keyhole as my main viewing source since was on time. PLUS Blogger and whatnot running in the background.. I'm sure my computer was screaming "omg omg system resources" but it worked like a charm. MUCH better than just Keyhole crashing like it did during Sportsman #1.

That figures. I fix my Wi-Fi a month or so back and it still finds a way to screw me over. I shall now cross my fingers and hope for the proverbial "best".
