No one knows yet... It could be that... It could be some runs shown on G4 and the rest on nbc... Or it could just be a pre-show (Like a 3 hour version of the Sasuke Navi things)

Well there's some talk about the possibility of Travis F.'s absence... he's not clearly in the NW picture on the vegas course, so is it possible he injured himself before competition?

Possible, but I was referring to wildcard spots, the last 10 (well 4 since we know 6), he wouldn't have gotten one

It's been posted in a few places but for ease purposes: Sunday, July 8: 9 p.m. -12 a.m. ET on G4 Monday, July 9: 9 p.m.-10 p.m. ET on NBC Monday, July 16 9 p.m. -10 p.m. ET on NBC Monday, July 23 9 p.m.-10 p.m. ET on NBC I'm a bit confused---are the Las Vegas finals going to be shown all at once on G4 on the 8th, then re-broadcasted on NBC over the span of 3 weeks? G4 can spin anything for a 3 hour period Honestly though NBC has first rights to the final so I suspect it's some sort of prelims wrap up. Maybe even a further in-depth look at the finalists that were shafted and not shown previously in their regionals. Lord knows there's a lot of people on that list. Maybe it's a way to dedicate an entire show to them and show their runs finally.. I expect it to be Navi heavy.. even heavier than the normal ANW broadcasts.

That's funny.. because he asked ME what the schedule was and extrapolated from there.. I have no idea where he got the numbers from. I'd love to see the source.
That said.. G4 has never shown what was shown in NBC so the only thing I can think of is that they are doing runs cut from NBC the following day.

NBC's press release for 07/09 mentions "TOP FINALISTS" and "top finishers," so Matt might be right. Probably like in Ninja Warrior, the stars are saved for the later Stage 1 episodes, while most of the nobodies are on the early episodes. "AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR"
"FINALS"
07/09/2012 (09:00PM - 10:00PM) (Monday) : 'AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR' HEADS TO LAS VEGAS AS THE TOP FINALISTS TAKE ON THE ULTIMATE CHALLENGE - A FOUR STAGE COURSE MODELED AFTER THE STUNNING 'MOUNT MIDORIYAMA' IN JAPAN - Picking up from last night's episode on G4, top finishers from the NBC regional finals tackle the ultimate challenge - a four stage course modeled after the famed 'Mount Midoriyama' course in Japan. Tonight's competitors take on Stage 1, a punishing 8 obstacle course that includes a Jumping Spider, Half Pipe Attack and Spinning Bridge. Only the competitors skilled enough to conquer all 8 obstacles will move onto Stage 2. Comedian Matt Iseman and Olympic Gold Medalist Jonny Moseley host and Angela Sun ("Yahoo! Sports Minute") reports from the sidelines as the competitors continue in their quest for the $500,000 cash prize and the chance to win the first "American Ninja Warrior" title.

Actually that doesn't tell me anything if you read between the lines the only thing guaranteed is that they will be discussing Vegas.. I'm looking for the specific article that mentioned the exact breakdown Matt posted.

I wrote to Matt via twitter and he confirms where he got it from: I got it from another competitor w/ good production contacts. So far the schedule was totally accurate, but caveat emptor!
