Point being that the showboaters never really get that far. Argument revalidated. Levi made it incredibly far in Japan twice and Flip made it reasonably far. Another Vegas-bound showboater, Jesse Villarreal from the Northeast, also shows great potential. True, we have yet to see a showboater (or any parkour/freerunner dude for that matter other than Brent Steffensen) show significant potential on Stage 3, but the fact remains that some showboaters have failed miserably while others have made it far. So I too don't see the validity of what you're trying to argue.

Wow, I try to make one statement and some heckler has to completely rip it apart...

Edit: As for David Rodriguez's run, wow is all I have to say. Finishing in less than a minute! That doesn't surprise me. I actually expected Flip to get under 50 seconds just because Paul got over the Warped Wall in around 45 seconds during his run Nice to see Drew back in top form as well as seeing Travis Rosen finish, but he seemed to exhaust himself more than I expected. I can't believe Strat fell on the Bungee Bridge of all places.

I love the designs for the Jumping Spider. Does anyone have a full list of the obstacles? From those really short previews, I noticed:
Stage 1 Rolling Maruta/Log Jumping Spider Spin Bridge
Stage 3 Spider Flip

I agree about the asterisk for the Jumping Bars. I couldn't find it in the footage either .

Well this is what I heard from stage 3, a competitor from the NE who didn't make it got info from someone who did make it to vegas (Who as my source said "he isn't as much of a sasuke buff as you or I(lesser extent).") , this is the exact quote While I've been told Jumping Bars are there, I have not seen them in any course overviews or sideline shots, based on this picture there has been speculation of the Chain See-Saw, which may be what the info meant (Since they do have bars on the end of the chains and you do jump... To someone who isn't as much of a fan as us the mistake is possible)

It wouldn't surprise me if they had the Jumping Ring before Hang Climbing. There's a big gap and platform after the Ultimate Cliffhanger, like in SASUKE 27.
I can't find the ladders that Chain See-Saw uses. It would be really difficult to transition from the chain to Hang Climbing without a ladder.

Um... it would be IMPOSSIBLE to transfer from the Chain See-Saw to Hang Climbing without a ladder. Unless they could hover of course

Actually in the pic I linked we can possibly see the ladder, that's where the speculation comes from

I remember seeing a rope right before the HC.

I double-checked the NBC Vegas promo, and there does seem to be a ladder right before Hang Climbing. I don't have a high resolution copy of it, but there was one frame that looked close enough. I also went back and reviewed the Southwest trials to find out who the woman standing next to Michael Zernow in the NBC Vegas promo was, and I believe that it is Selena Laniel , so that would leave 3 wildcards still to be identified.
