I liked the part where it is very clear who has an actual chance at completing the course and who has no chance whatsoever. When the time differences between the truly dedicated (or just those gifted with phenomenal strength and skill) is anywhere from one to three minutes it is very clear that some of these people have a very slim shot at completing the course. Sure its ok to see more people from around the country but when it comes down to it there are only really around 15 who have any chance at completing the course making the whole regional thing slightly pointless since the competition on Venice beach attracted 15 very talented individuals the past three years. Also as stated previously less story time more clears would be really neat but what are you going to do...Anywho...impressive work travis david and james. I honestly think all of the top 15 will actually do really well in Las Vegas.

Just because someone has a slower clear time, doesn't make them any less capable. ;p

Sasuke is filled with guys that can clear the stages within the time limit. There is no special commendation for those who do it with 30 seconds left or any detraction for 0.02 seconds left. A clear is a clear is a clear

Faster time does not equal better competitor.

Faster time does not equal better competitor. I never said it did, but for trials it is a good system, ok this time maybe it wasn't great since it's trying to get a field of 100 (Well 90 + 10 wildcards), but at least there's some system for not having 30/15. I'm not saying that speed system they go with is good but seeing all those clears that go over the highest sasuke time limits it's understandable why time is a factor

I think you need those slower guys...otherwise you don't get clears like Okuyama's . Besides, look at guys like Kinnikun Nakayama(just off the top of my head, there are probably better examples). He was capable of doing damn near EVERYTHING, but was too damn slow XD. Basically, Rider, he's saying that speed =/= skill.

Nice work, you deserved some TV time for sure, after the dedication you've shown in the face of some mega-disappointing fails. And everybody's favorite southern ninja cheerleader did a decent job with the recording, for a change! ;-)
