Edited out the Schedule Note because I was confused the NHL game with being on NBC instead of NBCSN (Sports Network - formerly Vs). One page says Sports Network and another said main NBC station. Thanks Chief for finding that out for me. Game 3 is on NBCSN and NOT NBC so ANW is unaffected this week. affiliate.zap2it.com/tv/2012-stanley-cup-final/EP01516399That said, it will however impact Monday June 11 since it definitely mentions it being on NBC if Game 6 is on.

I imagine that the NHL has precedence over ANW, so I'm sure any episodes pre-empted by hockey will be skipped (or thrown on some Saturday night). Honestly I fail to understand why NBC owns sole rights to the Stanley Cup and would squander the first three games on a cable network that only like 5-10% of people get anyway.

NBC has a number of options for any pre-emption.
NBC still has 9pm-11pm allocated to ANW on 6/18. They might have a 1-hour version and a 2-hour version of the Mid-South final on hand just in case.
They could also air the pre-empted episode on 7/9, right before the first Vegas episode, because of AGT moving its new episodes to Tuesdays & Wednesdays starting that week.

Anyone know why they are hyping Jesse Villarreal so much?

What was the name of that Filipino parkour instructor/whatever? I think he's the first Filipino to even be involved with ANYTHING Sasuke/NW related.
I am Filipino, by the way... I just have the feeling he'll be FFed.

Anyone know why they are hyping Jesse Villarreal so much? For the Nagano reference and maybe he makes stage 2 in finals and they're foreshadowing a good result. Who knows?

Well the commentary at the event was recorded before vegas... but it's probably since he has Nagano's background and Flip's gimmicks so they expect good from him...

On a different note, I can't believe Michael Needham failed the quad steps. That was almost as shocking as seeing Levi fail there. Hope he's back next year. Lot of potential in that him.

FYI, regarding the Stanley Cup: The Kings are leading the Devils 3-0. Game 6 would be on Monday the 11th, which at this point is looking highly unlikely.

In my opinion it was 100 times more shocking than Levi's fail. You could see it in Mike before his run. He wanted to win. Badly.

I just wanted to note (also balancing off my negative previous post) something. It was great to see Tim Schieff, aka Livewire, redeem himself, and then some, this year. First place! And I will admit to tearing up a bit when I heard Chris W.'s story of how ANW literally changed his life.

Such a genuine guy, he was even nice enough to let me stay over at his house!

On a side note, that jump to the jumping bars looked absolutely massive. Nagano would have had no chance at that.
