Actually, How did the 2005 Sasuke (14, 15 and 16) do in the ratings? 18.7, 15.5, 14.5 (then lowest of the series) I wonder if Monster9 is going to try for a multi-part series this time, now that there's no defined trial space. It may be enough to shake up some eyeballs. It also looks like they may be trying for the back-end of the season transition, close to when all the Spring shows start to premiere.

Well, I can't make any videos right now.(There's about a foot of snow on my training area). But, I will definately watch it. As long as it's not any of the last 3 days of Febuary(not likely I know) I can watch it. That's the regional for my robot compitition that started on January 3rd. In case the date doesn't ring a bell, It was the day of Pro Sportsman #1. So, I ended up not sleeping the day I had to pay the most attention.

Ube so your suggestion was to move it to a Sunday to have a better chance? Of course not having an knowledge of the TV lineup I have no idea what would help. Of course having commercials would be better.. no one has even seen one yet and usually it's on during Sportsman #1. I do agree with more MM and STQers from last year. 13 MM last year was a bit much though.. maybe they will allow more Americans if they pay for their way? Dunno how many G4 are coming but it sounds like less than the last time. Also all 6 Allstars are expected this time around. Daisuke is coming back and a couple other ones that always come seem to be still interested. The 2 Olympians (wrestlers) were also interested and even the Japanese one did Sportsman #1 with good success. I know the Gold medalist wanted another shot so I suspect he and his f-bomb will be back since Monster 9 liked his behavior and appreciating behind the scenes (he really is a nice guy). Outside of that it's a guessing game who will be invited along with how many will be chosen through the Trials and application process. Nakata is coming back? That's cool if it's true, especially after his display on the Salmon Ladder in #21. That was tough to watch but he's a competitor no doubt.

I meant Miyazaki I know he's coming back. Not sure about Nakata (sorry didn't state which of the Daisuke's) Maybe someone can email him to see if he is coming this year?

LOL No harm done- should have known anyways. You think Miyazaki can be the next 'all-star' so to speak or was his run in #21 just a fluke?

You kidding? Daisuke is an aamzing athelete, very well rounded.
Lack of upper body muscular endurance, but ya know, what can you do?
I think him failing in 20 was the fluke, I predicted he'd go to stage 3 in Sasuke 21.

LOL don't ask about All-Stars.. unless you know someone in TBS people should just pipe down with the speculation. And no he shouldn't be an All-star by TBS's definition.

What I meant to say was can he consistently perform and get to the 3rd stage on a regular basis? A lot of people on here seem to think so, but if you can prove that you can do that on a regualr basis, then you have my vote. Levi is another guy that has the ability and potential to go very far on a regular basis, but he needs to prove it in #22. Having one good result doesn't make you an ''all-star" SO TO SPEAK!

Oh agreed I just always get frustrated with the "name the all-star game" because I wouldn't have Yamada in the mix.. LMAO But if you go by TBS' criteria you wonder why he is the #1 Allstar in their book.. /shudder.. LMAO Personally I don't even think of people being called Allstars until their 4-5th time.. that way you can see if they have consistency. So that would exclude any of the ANC crowd for a while.

I think being a professional athlete would pretty much discount you from being an All-Star. That said, I don't think they'll ever be changed within the lifetime of Sasuke.

I hate to come to Yamada's defence, but in his first 7 tries, never failed stage 1, failed the pipe slider twice (all heart breaking) i mean he was amazing, its just a shame tht the start of sasuke was during his prime. But i think is he was their for sauske 13, then we might be seeing different results from yamada

Hey even I have to admit that in Sasuke 18 he came pretty damn close to getting back to form though .. I just love ragging him.. he's become a joke in the sidelines with his antics.. Such a friggin' drama queen.. eeeh gads..

Hey even I have to admit that in Sasuke 18 he came pretty damn close to getting back to form though .. 16, too. He was really close to making Yamamoto the only all-star who did not advance to Stage 2 when he timed out near the top of the Rope Climb. 16 and 18 were definitely heartbreaking defeats for him because he had a chance both times. And heck, if it weren't for his struggle with the Warped Wall in 17, he could've done it there too. I think he may have a chance this time if he can find his form from 18 (and then some because he needs to be a bit faster), and not be hurt like he was in 21.

LOL 18 was worse because he had to deal with that interviewer going "I hate to remind you but .. you timed out again"... Talk about Miss Obvious LOL (I meant as of recently when I pointed out 18)
