Yeah, they have a rope that pulls it up the track and there's a guy who goes up and stops it from swaying before the runs...
Granted Sasuke isn't much better, They just have two guys up on the track, one on each side who just push it up and lift it up over the gaps

Honestly I'm not surprised, I remember the horror stories of how horribly maintained ANW3's steps were, and I didn't see anyone out there wiping the steps either so I assume they were just as slick as ever... Honestly ANW qualifier steps are one of those obstacles there's no shame in failing...

HOLY COW!! I knew that the slick steps would take out some higher flight competitors but even HE fell there? That really sucks because I'd have liked to see how he would've done in Vegas after not competing since 23.

A little off-topic, but there is a very likely chance I could be at the dallas tryouts. If that happens, I will do my best to record videos and keep data.

He competed in 25, he failed the slider drop not knowing it could derail like that, he hasn't been to stage 3 since 23 though

NOOO LEVI! I think it might have been that he never attempted the mile-away ANW3 steps. Oh well, he will (hopefully) kick a** at ANW5.

Here it is From Twitter: "Damn every1 is trippen out cuz Levi Meeuwenberg missed on the 1st obstacle. One of the best competitors. Wtf unbelievable.I'm even shocked." And I thought it was bad after seeing a Shane and Trevor failing them in ANW3... Seriously, what the hell is the logical sense behind making the Steps steeper and more widely spaced with each new ANW qualifier? Apparently the ANW course designers don't realize that the Step obstacles are 1) nothing like that scale-wise on Sasuke and 2) are supposed to be the easiest obstacle on the course since they're the first one in order. Unless you're this boss, there should be no need to cling to a Steps obstacle like that on Sasuke; meanwhile, in ANW they've made it get to the point where the majority of people can only clear it by clinging on to each step before leaping to the next one.

That is awful, I really wish they didn't make them so far apart. I wonder if his fail was like Trevor's where he basically just slipped down a step.

Just trying to get a grip on how many pass from each area and how many are being picked overall. The semis start at 9pm. They are still running the southwest. I still believe it's 30 per region. And then the top 30 from semis make LV. Edit: Someone actually just ran, I missed the result due to my modem restarting....
