Here's another fun scenario. Let's say that SASUKE is in fact cancelled and ANW4 is still on. How would you go forth presenting a reasonable prize?
Frankly I'd do a four stage course just like the one in Japan. EXCEPT... keep the old ANW rules. Top 30 clear the First Stage, top 15 clear the Second Stage. The Third Stage is a three-day boot camp with a "test" at the end of the camp, and anyone who can complete the course without failing a single obstacle will advance to the Final Stage. Defeat the Final Stage, you win $250,000.
Here's a sample course:
First Stage 1. Corrected Sextuple Step 2. Rope Cross (Bridge Jump/Step Slider rope portion) 3. Rolling Escargot (muahahaha.) 4. Jump Hang (ANW3 version with smaller cargo net) 5. Hang Move (ANW3 version) 6. Warped Wall (ANW3 version) 7. Final Climb (being G4 accurate)
Second Stage 1. Circle Slider 2. Salmon Ladder 3. Corrected Unstable Bridge 4. Balance Tank 5. Metal Spin 6. Wall Lifting
Third Stage 1. Arm Bike (more resistance) 2. Roulette Cylinder (ANW3 version) 3. Curtain Cling 4. Flying Bar (four rungs) 5. Ultimate Cliffhanger (between Sasuke and ANW3 difficulty) 6. Pipe Slider (17 version)
Anyone who completes the Third Stage wins a trip to Japan to train with a few people before the Final Stage, which is done LIVE on the final night of the tournament.
Final Stage Some sort of gigantic freakin' rope climb. I'm talking like 30-40 meters tall. However big you can get. (Obviously, not building a full tower like SASUKE.)

What do you mean by "Corrected" obstacles?

What do you mean by "Corrected" obstacles? He means the sextuple step that is more like the one in Japan. Steps are closer and not made of ice. With the Unstable Bridge one that will not fly around like a kite. Both of these obstacles acted in ways that took out competitors because of luck, not skill.

Highly unlikely that they would give big prizes just like that. It's not the same if they can't lord it over other countries.

I would make ANW4 be almost as difficult as real course in Japan, with time limits.
First Stage 1- Quad Steps (Higher up so they are not slippery) 2- Jump Hang (The one in the video below, but the rope is farther away)
3- Rolling Escargot 4- Hang Move (ANW3 Version) 5- The REAL Jumping Spider 6- Halfpipe Attack (Sasuke Malaysia Version) 7- Warped Wall 8- Tarzan Rope + Rope Ladder
120 Seconds
Second Stage 1. Jumping Bars 2. Double Salmon Ladder 3. Unstable Bridge 4. Balance Tank 5. Metal Spin 6. Wall Lifting
100 Seconds
Third Stage 1. Roulette Cylinder (ANW3 version) 2. Curtain Cling 3. Devil Steps 4. Ultimate Cliffhanger (Sasuke difficulty) 5. Flying Bar (4 rungs) 6. Ascending Climb 7. Pipe Slider (17 version)
Final Stage 1- Spider Climb (15m) 2- Final Rope (8m)
35 Seconds
Prize: $500,000

How I'd set up ANW 4
First Stage 1.Step Slider 2.Rolling Escargot 3.Spinning Bridge 4.Jumping Spider 5.Half Pipe Attack 6.Warped Wall 7.Giant Swing + Jump Hang (like in Sasuke 26) 8.Tarzan Rope + Rope Ladder
120 Seconds
Second Stage 1.Slider Drop 2.Double Salmon Ladder 3.Unstable Bridge 4.Balance Tank 5.Metal Spin 6.Wall Lifting
90 Seconds
Third Stage 1.Roulette Cylinder + Doorknob Grasper 2.Floating Boards 3.Ultimate Cliffhanger (Sasuke 26 Ver.) 4.Flying Bar (4 rungs) 5.Chain See-Saw 6.Globe Grasp (Ascending instead of Descending) 7.Pipe Slider
Final Stage 1.Heavenly Ladder 2.Rope Climb
35 Seconds
Prize: $500,000 (If this season does really well the prize money should go up to a million next season)

I would have it simply be just like in Japan, screw that boot camp stuff. Let ANW4 have prelims and whatnot, but if it keeps going without Sasuke, then let those that do good go on to Vegas or wherever it will continue to be located right from the start. And hold prelims for those who have not yet proven themselves. Full course like Sasuke 27, with variations every tournament, and keep every single bit of difficulty in the course, or even make it harder. Maybe have it just like 27, but for Stage 3 start out by having that ladder between the jumping rings and the chain seesaw removed and replaced with another jumping ring, and the 2nd ladder replaced with a "stable" chain seesaw, so you can reach for the rope junction with 1 hand and move on. Those ladders really took away from Stage 3 for me.
