So, Sasuke 27 was a hit and miss for many people. I wanted to hear you guys' opinions on this.
For me, it was definitely one of my favorite tournaments to watch. It had everything. A great amount of success for many competitors. It even gave competitors a chance to be great. It had a lot of shockers too, such as Kinnikun and Li En Zhi. And upsets from Shingo, Yamada, Takahashi, Tajima, Kanno, etc. I loved seeing Urushihara destroy the course again, and Nagano do so well. Seeing Hashimoto and Matachi destroy the UCH was very exciting. And as great it was to see many competitors destroy the first stage, it was great to see Stage 2 have its vengeance on many competitors.
If I could rank every tournament, it'd go like this:
SASUKE 27 SASUKE 23 SASUKE 12 SASUKE 17 SASUKE 8 SASUKE 24 SASUKE 11 SASUKE 13 SASUKE 3 SASUKE 22 SASUKE 1 SASUKE 5 SASUKE 7 SASUKE 4 SASUKE 16 SASUKE 14 SASUKE 21 SASUKE 18 SASUKE 10 SASUKE 6 SASUKE 15 SASUKE 19 SASUKE 9 SASUKE 25 SASUKE 20 SASUKE 26 SASUKE 2

I don't know about you, but I had more fun watching Sasuke 23. Something about it was just different that made it more exciting than this one. Maybe it was the announcers, maybe it was the obstacles. Either way, this tournament was really good but not my top favorite.

I loved seeing competitors like Jovtchev and Omori return, and the All Stars having great results. All the stages were very evened out as well.

Sasuke 23 was great, but I think Sasuke 8 was better.

Sasuke 23 was great, but I think Sasuke 8 was better. Sasuke 8 was definitely the most dramatic. Yamada "retiring", and the epic rain battle in the Final Stage. Kosugi's last tournament as well. :/

Kosugi's last tournament as well. :/ Sasuke 24 was also very dramatic, if not more than Sasuke 8 (especially with everything leading up to Takeda's Stage 3 run with him being the last All-Star standing and his last big chance at the Final Stage). I guess it depends on how you look at it as to which one had more, but those two have to be some of the dramatic tournaments ever any way you put them. In my opinion, Sasuke 27 was pretty good, but like it's been said it just seemed to lack some things that some of the greatest tournaments had. Nevertheless, I'd probably place it up pretty high overall. Here are my top ten favorite tournaments (so far) in order: 23 17 8 12 10 24 2719 13 4

Presentation wise, the show was fantastic. Best tournament ever? Not by a longshot. I'm going with everyone saying 23, personally.

But seeing 5 others make it to the Final, was very exciting. Amazing to see how competitors rise so far. As for your list, good choices. Didn't like 19 or 10 very much however. 19 had a great deal of drama, but there were so many things we didn't get to see. As for the 10th...pretty disappointing considering its anniversary. Yamada's run was amazing. And his exit was dramatic, but that's really all there was to it.

yes it was! it had by far the best fails that each stage has ever see, but thats not why we watch sasuke we watch it for the achievements and to see three people beat the UCH was just incredible even if the rest of the third stage was kinda weak and to top it all off somebody beat stage 4! to me it was the most entertaining sasuke in a long long time and I may have a strong bias but oh well

I definitely loved the tournament, I'm undecided if it's the best but it's definitely way up there. And hey, it gave me TONS of footage for That Music Video I just made

I really loved this show except the end of it, the thirds stage wasn't spectacular as 23 and 40 seconds for the stage 4 look way too much

I imagine seeing it all happen in real time in real life must be truly something!

12>8>23>17>15>24>25>27 It was an amazing tournament, but nothing will ever beat Sasuke 8 in my eyes.
