*NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT. THE NEXT OFFICIAL TOURNAMENT WILL BE HELD AT SCNOI'S DISCRETION.* After SasukeAnimator's total victory after just one SMF tournament, the rest of the field remains shameful in the fact that none of them managed to even clear the Second Stage. ...Now's your chance for revenge! I will be proctoring runs on Monday, October 10 and Tuesday, October 11. If you are not available for these days, please let me know and we can work something out. UnrealCanine has promised to make minute edits to the tournament edition, so don't try to pull anything sneaky on me RUN PROTOCOL: I will give you a link to the game a few minutes before you run. Begin your recording a few minutes before your run. I will then instruct you via personal chat to begin your run. You must record the personal chat box, and I must see me posting that note. Once this happens, you may begin your run. YOU WILL HAVE ONE ATTEMPT AT THE ENTIRE COURSE. You must report your result of each stage (i.e. Clear 1.65 seconds left or Failed DSL). If you don't report the First Stage for, oh say, 12 minutes, I know you haven't followed directions. That being said, I remind you again that this is not an official tournament. ANYONE may sign up, obviously with the exception of SasukeAnimator. When you sign up, please let me know what time you would like to run (any time between 7 and 10 PM should be OK). Be prepared to log on to the chat 15-20 minutes before your run. Oh and one more thing - Good luck! (Thanks to Scnoi1217 and UnrealCanine for the support.)

Recording the chat not to mention recording before you even receive the link kind of complicates recording because there's the chance something overrides the game which raises the chances of you failing out of your own power.

Yeah, I'm not really liking the sound of this chat thing. Why can't we do the same thing Scnoi had us do and jump or crouch or something?

Plus, if you're giving us a different version of the game, you can't try anything sneaky. Also, having to give you a play by play while recording elongates the video time, which elongates the file size, which depending on the speed of your computer will take forever just to upload. It took quite a bit of time to transfer my run from my laptop to my main computer because the speed was out of wack that day and you saw how little progress I made.

Some notes:
*There will be no new obstacles. I have asked UnrealCanine to make subtle changes to the game. *I will be lenient on the results reporting. HOWEVER, here is the chat protocol. All I need to see is me saying "You may begin your run". After that you don't have to do anything but report your final result. *I didn't like the jump/crouch thing, but the subtle changes to the game will prove that it's not pre-recorded. There will be a protocol for the Third Stage, we'll cover that as we go.
Any other questions, let me know. That seemed to cover everything so far.

Speaking of which, how are you competing? You can't possibly just have us trust you. Unless you are not competing in this one since you're just hosting.

I was going to compete on the honor system, but if you all lack faith in me I will sit this tournament out.

That's the thing, isn't it? How should we possibly trust you when you don't even trust us? It kinda goes both ways.

Question: If I had Scnoi supervise my run, and I followed the same rules as you guys, would I be allowed to run? I'll let you guys make that call.

Do you know what changes have been made to the course? I trained a lot for the first tournament, but didn't enter because I knew what the course was like and thus had an unfair advantage to everyone else.

Changes: There aren't any. There's one extremely subtle change that will not affect gameplay. No new obstacles, no new mechanics. Same old game. But you're under pressure under a tightened clock and you have one chance.

If Scnoi does it, I'm perfectly fine with it. Also, is the time limits going to be same as before or are they going to be different?

Since you've asked specifically, I'll give in. Time limits are changed, but not drastically. Like I said, though, no new obstacles or mechanics.

Is the game NW1 or NW2? I'm assuming NW1, but not really sure.
