Are not in yet for SASUKE. Ha! But we do have some overnight numbers (TBS generally doesn't release overnight ratings) for the shows that went up against SASUKE: tv8ch.blog98.fc2.com/blog-entry-2739.html**.*% 19:00-19:30 NHK NHKƒjƒ…[ƒX7 **.*% 19:30-19:58 NHK ƒNƒ[ƒYƒAƒbƒvŒ»‘ã **.*% 20:00-20:43 NHK ’ß•r‚̉Ƒ°‚ÉŠ£”t **.*% 20:45-21:00 NHK ƒjƒ…[ƒX845 **.*% 21:00-22:00 NHK ƒjƒ…[ƒXƒEƒIƒbƒ`9 **.*% 22:00-22:50 NHK ƒfƒB[ƒvƒs[ƒvƒ‹EÅI‰ñ *8.5% 19:00-20:54 NTV ¢ŠE‚܂錩‚¦ƒKƒoƒb‚ƃƒCƒhƒŒƒ“ƒW‚Å’T‚µ‚Ä‚Ý‚½‚çcŒ©‚½‚±‚Æ‚È‚¢”Ô‘g‚ª‘µ‚Á‚½‚æSP 12.1% 21:00-23:18 NTV ‚µ‚á‚ׂ‚è007H‚Ì2ŽžŠÔ”¼ƒXƒyƒVƒƒƒ‹ 14.1% 19:00-20:18 EX__ ‚¨ŽŽ‚µ‚©‚Á!&Q‚³‚Ü!!3ŽžŠÔƒXƒyƒVƒƒƒ‹ 13.4% 20:18-21:48 EX__ ‚¨ŽŽ‚µ‚©‚Á!&Q‚³‚Ü!!3ŽžŠÔƒXƒyƒVƒƒƒ‹ *8.9% 21:54-23:10 EX__ •ñ“¹ƒXƒe[ƒVƒ‡ƒ“ *9.0% 23:15-24:15 EX__ [V]ƒXƒgƒ‰ƒCƒNTV **.*% 19:00-22:48 TBS SASUKE2011H **.*% 19:00-19:30 TX__ ‚½‚Ü‚²‚Á‚¿! **.*% 19:30-20:00 TX__ —V‹Y‰¤ZEXAL **.*% 20:00-22:48 TX__ ŒŽ—jƒvƒŒƒ~ƒA!–¼‹ÈƒxƒXƒgƒqƒbƒg‰Ì—w 14.0% 19:00-20:54 CX* ƒlƒv‘僊[ƒO 14.4% 21:00-23:24 CX* SMAP~SMAP˜b‘è‚Ì‹‰ØƒXƒ^[‘åW‡ƒXƒyƒVƒƒƒ‹! What i find encouraging is that not a program got above a 14.4. Meaning that Sasuke either wasn't up against a premiere show, or it stole some viewers from the premiere show. Could go either way, im staying optimistic for now

OK. Sorry, I don't know why all the kanji got screwed up. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

We still see the link so that's still good Thanks for finding it for us so quickly. I'll definitely keep checking the thread to see how they progress in filling up the numbers.

If you can, set your browser's encoding to Shift_JIS. I don't know what it is with IE; I've been a faithful Firefox user since 2005.

They broke double digits on a heavy night and were 2nd.. (just like twitter btw..) Going to email them to see if this was acceptable for them.

I do not this that is bad at all! ratings have not been this high since 23. This also beats SASUKE 21's ratings.

Hey if they are comparing it to ANW in making a decision.. being 2nd nationwide to being around 8th nationwide .. that's friggin' good. I do hope that helps for 28. I'm going to make a fuss over it as much as I can. TBS needs to know people want to see this still! Especially given the circumstances I'm really happy. I didn't think looking at the other double digits that Sasuke could be in that company.

Regarding this, hopefully TBS gives a considerable analysis how and why it did better this time than the past few tournaments. If they try seeing what might work better than other things in the past, then there could have a fair shot at it continuing to do relatively well in both ratings and popularity.

Unless TBS provides a breakdown, they aren't being totally honest. Only the last hour or so would have finished 2nd. If they hold to 12.6 for the whole program, they finished third. Still good though.
Fuji TV Nepleague 19:00 - 20:54 14.0% TV Asahi QSama (1st half) 19:00 - 20:18 - 14.1% Fuji TV SMAP x SMAP 21:00 - 23:24 - 14.4 TV Asahi QSama (2nd half) 20:18 - 21:48 13.4 TV Asahi Houdou Station 21:54 - 23:10 8.9%
The only reason SASUKE on TBS beats TV Asahi in the final hour is because of the news.

Hey if they can accept with great excitement the inflated ANW ratings on NBC.. then I'll take the inflated TBS ratings. If they are staring at the 2nd overall and posted that as the final then they are looking in the positive just like they did with ANW. If that means it secures Sasuke 28 I'll take it Definitely post if you get a full breakdown once that initial post updates. I'd be curious to put it in a chart and follow how it did hour by hour.

For whatever reason (probably originating from 2ch) the Japanese SASUKE article has it at 16.7 which would make it first overall but it's unsourced and you'd think TBS would mention something like that.

Holy moses if that is true that would be epic.. I guess we have to wait for the full ones .. er.. tomorrow? Isn't that when the official pages update? I lost track when these things are set.

I'd look at this a vote of confidence if ProSales didn't do the same thing for every TBS program that finishes 1st or 2nd in it's time slot.

This is GREAT news! It's particularly great for those of us hoping to make it to Sasuke to compete. I fretted all through my softball game tonight (we won, BTW ;D) and my training session afterwards, as I really didn't expect to see ratings in this range. I know this doesn't guarantee another Sasuke, but it looks a damned sight more likely than it did. Huzzah!
