i think they will do the same thing when kanzenseiha was achieved in kunochi 4. they will keep the final stage, but they will level it to the floor making it 23 meters, and decreasing the time limit to 35 seconds.

well after stage 3 was over and done they changed stage 4 form a 23m climb with 40sec to just 20m with 40sec
I do feel the straight rope climb is harder but they had way too much time

well after stage 3 was over and done they changed stage 4 form a 23m climb with 40sec to just 20m with 40sec So they tested it with the original tower setup and the platform and stairs were sort of a last minute thing that luckily were able to hold up?

they raised the starting platform Yeah I noticed that But I meant was that not their initial plan and they were going to start it lower? They just had some supports and stairs laying around for a last minute change?

I really think it should have started from the floor and sitting to stop any leaping advantages.

if the original plan was to start from the floor, then they were unexpected of a final stage attempt. They could have always raised the tower to 26m, but keep the supports and stairs to make it a 23m climb.

This might just be me, but it seemed a little tapered to Yuuji. I mean, he specially trained at rope climbing, and then what do they change the final stage to? A giant rope.
