As of Sasuke 26, Stage 1 has been cleared 295 times. As a result, there is a very good chance that Sasuke 27 will have the 300th Stage 1 clear ever on Sasuke. So, I've decided to make a fun poll seeing everyone's opinions on what group of competitors will bear the individual who achieves this landmark clear. There are 8 choices to pick from: 1.) All-Stars - Nagano, Takeda, Yamamoto, Yamada, Akiyama, or Shiratori 2.) Shin Sedai (main 5) - Urushihara, Kanno, Hashimoto, Tajima, or Jun Sato 3.) other Shin Sedai/STQer - Matachi, Kawaguchi, Hioki, and any other unexperienced/new competitor who has earned or recently earned a trip(s) to Sasuke (NOTE: this doesn't include "old-time" qualifiers like Washimi and Kawahara) 4.) ANW3 guys - any of the 10 Americans who qualified via ANW3 (NO SPECIFIC NAMES WITHOUT SPOILER TAGS! ) 5.) non-ANW3 foreigner - any other foreigner who competes in Sasuke 27 that hadn't competed via ANW3; this includes the American eBay auction winner, Li En Zhi, Jordan Jovtchev, the Sasuke Malaysia winner, etc. (keep in mind there may be more due to the apparent "globe" theme implied by this picture) 6.) Japanese veterans/returnees - any recurring Japanese competitor that doesn't fit one of the above categories; this includes (but is not limited to) Takahashi, Okuyama, Hiromichi Sato, Kishimoto Muscle Musical members, other pro athletes, Olympians, entertainers/comedians, and Minoru Kuramochi ( ) 7.) random other person - miscellaneous people who we don't know or barely know anything about, 90% of which fail one of the first few obstacles 8.) we won't see the 300th Stage 1 clear ever in 27 - though it's pretty unlikely, by picking this you're expecting 27's Stage 1 to allow less than 5 clears and therefore not expect this tournament to have the 300th Stage 1 clear This poll closes minutes before the ANW3 finale on NBC Monday night. So go ahead and choose, because I'm curious to hear what everyone thinks!

Just saying, the Shin Sedai officially are only those 5 But I think it'll be a ANW3 person or a vet. More so a vet.

Just saying, the Shin Sedai officially are only those 5 Eh I thought I heard people referring to any of the STQers as Shin Sedai, might've been a G4 broadcast. Either way good thing I explained each group in the description for clarification. ;D

OK just to clarify, the 5 are the Shin Sei, New Stars, that's the group. Most of the younger competitors are Shin Sedai, New Generation. There is a distinction

Well let me plan this all out in my head. Every rookie American from the top 10 will have a number somewhere between 40-60, just an estimate considering the numbers given in 23 and 26. The veteran Americans will range from 80-95... again, considering past tournaments. Nagano will be 99, Takeda and Shingo will be in the mid-low 90's, and Yamada should be in the 80's. Yuuji has 100, Okuyama has 98, and Lee with 97. The rest of the Shin Sedai and Veterans should be in the high 80's to 90's.
So, considering the Americans out perform themselves from last time, we should have a few rookies and vets pass the 1st Stage. I'm going to predict 3 new Americans make it past the 1st Stage before anyone else. After them I'm thinking someone like Sato or Tajima will be the next to clear, maybe even someone like a new muscle musical member like the guy who just barely timed out last time. So right there is about 5 clears. NONE of them being an all star or "top vet" ex; Okuyama, Lee, Kongu...
So my overall guess will be between one of the lower class Shin Sedai (Sato and Tajima) or a new guy ranging from a qualifier, MMM, STQ... Really it could be anyone.
I chose other Shin Sedai/STQ'r

I am going to say the Americans, but it all comes down to who if anyone clear before the Americans run the coarse.

Americans will likely have numbers throughout the entire day, anything from 40-97ish
It's very likely they'll do it, especially since there's 10 of them and they're all great athletes. That's probably the best bet.

It could be anybody with high start number, it mainly depends on number of clears.

I would imagine it would be the ANW3 guys, since their numbers will be spread out. By the time the high numbers come along , I think there will already be 5 clears.
**edit to add: I actually think that the 300th clear will be somewhere in the 60-80 range, and I think that the Americans have the best chance (between the sheer number of them and their usual placement) of being in that range.

no way! I had no idea, I think it may have been one of the other American or even me! I can't remember the order for the second stage D: but it will be interesting to watch Sasuke and see if they make a deal out of it cause if they don't we may never know (due to editing and all)

Didn't you go first of the Americans? or was that ANW just playing with us Also... if it WAS you... does that mean we get 4 Japanese clears before you??? EDIT: Just also like to say you did an awesome job! Way to go for making it so far!

There's a commercial for ANW finale with Brent and Drew doing flips on the starting platform, when Drew does his flip, you can see James waiting to go next. So he didn't go first.

>_> he's not allowed to tell us. Even if he did count he probably doesnt want us to get mad at him for withholding that info.
