I'm new here, but just thought that I'd share that my heart goes out to David. He was so close to beating that ultimate cliff hanger. I really think he will get it next time if he just keeps up the training.

How badly did he break it if he still needs surgery a month or two after the accident?
It was kind of sad watching his run knowing it would happen, Although the initial rumor made it surprising, When he was approaching the Giant Swing I was thinking "Oh s**t... Oh s**t..." then he cleared it, turned to thinking maybe the Motorcycle thing was true and without a second thought switched to GO!!! GO!!! Then the crushingness (of both dreams and his knee) on the HPA...
But I don't know if he's reading this but if he is, I wish you well and hope you have a quick and effective (and painless) recovery"

My thoughts are with Drew. Hopefully he can rebound from his surgery.
I like the idea of the "Recovery Tour", hopefully he can book a bunch of different cities.
I didn't spoil myself with news of his injury before the ANW3 Finals so I was crushed as he worked his way over to the Warped Wall.

Was Drew the weird guy that threw up in Jump City: Seattle?

Jereme Sanders. But I think Drew was suffering from a toe injury himself.
Man, my thoughts to Drew, I really hope his recovery is quicker than it seems like it'll be.

KNEE UPDATE:: The surgery went very well & I'm still a little loopy lol they were able to repair 1 meniscus and only had to shave a little bit off the other one. That was my main concern because the meniscus cant regenerate or be replaced. The Hamstring graph for my ACL went well as expected too. However, because everything will heal stronger in the long run, recovery time will be longer than expected. ANW 4 chances are a bit slim. :/

I'm glad Drew's surgery went well. He seems like a really nice guy. My thoughts and prayers go out to him for a speedy recovery. I felt awful when he went down in ANW3--I hadn't read any rumors so it was a total surprise to me. It looked really painful though. If he wouldn't have gotten hurt, I'm sure we would've put all 10 Americans through the 1st stage.
Hopefully he will be good to go by the time ANW4 comes around.

It's a shame the injury was so serious. I can't help but think it could have been avoided or at least minimized had the HPA been designed more responsibly.
I hope Drew's medical expenses were taken care of and I wish him a very rapid recovery with no future complications.

Rewatching the runs, what is the obsession of referring to everyone by their full name?

Rewatching the runs, what is the obsession of referring to everyone by their full name? Because the NBC runs are, well, on NBC, everything else was on G4, a channel that doesn't get much promotion outside itself and not everyone gets, so everyone watching may not know who these people are

Rewatching the runs, what is the obsession of referring to everyone by their full name? I prefer them using their full name honestly.
