Which ones are you trying to build? A bunch of people here have built replicas so their advice are all throughout this sub-forum. If there is something you can't find, let us know

Good luck building the Cannonball Run. Other than that, if you're good with metal work you could probably rig up a Rolling Escargot, and with some good support work you can build a lot of obstacles, hang a rope and make a Step Slider, and with some master welding skills perhaps you could rig a Roulette Cylinder like the one at ANW3 boot camp.

There is a section on this forum for obstacle specs. I don't know exactly how much the older obstacle specs will help but you could take a look.

Good luck building the Cannonball Run. Yeah, I have been thinking about that one. My first idea was chicken wire balls covered in concrete, but it will probably be short logs with eyehooks at each end, with ropes attached to a support.

...with some good support work you can build a lot of obstacles I built a single support that I attach a bunch of obstacles to.

If you built Newton's baby cradle I will love you. I will probably not build them for my "SASUKE 27-28" course. It will probably make it next time after I can think it through. Chicken wire with concrete is your best bet.

There was some guy who made a roulette cylinder out of wood that was shown on ANW episode 3. It looked really nice. You can probably take a look at it if you need some design help.

I already have a idea for a wooden one. It will have to wait for my next course; I have this years lineup figure out.

Well I built a salmon ladder. To built it take two very tall pieces of wood. Take other peices of wood and make them smaller. Also make sure they can hold up your weight. Then put the tall pieces of wood in the ground and drill the smaller pieces in the bigger ones. Then keep drilling smaller pieces of wood into the bigger ones. Make sure they a parralel. Also make sure that to make it a true salmon ladder make the final rung go up farther. Then you must get a bar. Again make sure it can hold your weight. That is my advice. It probably sounds confusing.

I bult a chain saw (chain see saw is what some call it) it may sound hard to make. But what you do is: 1. get 2 ropes. 2. find a good place to hang both of them ( make sure they wobble) Also make sure the place you put the ropes isn't too high off the ground or if you fail the obstacle and the whole rope comes down it can be harder to put it back up. 3. Test the ropes make sure they aren't steady but not too unsteady. I sounds hard to under stand because its hard to expain.

One of the finland guys did something like that in the video, although his was "more accurate" since it was chain and had actual handles (look like nunchaku modified to have a longer chain and mounted on a beam).
As for "some calling it" the Chain See-Saw, that's the name they gave in the Japanese broadcast, "Chain Saw" was the name given during ANW3

I've been building obstacles this past year, and i'm going to build a smaller version of the jumping spider tomorrow. Hopefully it will turn out well . List of obstacles I can mention that I do have from Sasuke 26-27 are step slider (but no rope), hazard swing(smaller than the original), warped wall(not as a high as the original, and not sure about the incline), balance tank(not exactly, but very similar), unstable bridges(accurate measurements except the lengths of the chain), a four rung salmon ladder(accurate to the one in Odaiba muscle park), and the fourth and fifth ledge of the UCH (accurate measurements except the thickness is a tad off).

I have a forest with a bunch of trails right next to where I live. In there I built several sasuke obstacles to train on. I have the ultimate cliffhanger, salmon ladder, pipe slider, quad steps, balance tank, chain reaction, g-rope, rope junction, tarzan swing, and I am working on building the warped wall, metal spin, and the unstable bridge. Can anyone please post links to their obstacle replicas and training? I posted videos training on many of my obstacles at www.youtube.com/etangins -Etan www.ninjawarrior.info

I'm looking at building a Sasuke/ANW obstacle training course in a 5000 sq/ft indoor area. Does anyone know where I can get the specs for a wide variety of the obstacles? Doesn't have to be actual blueprints, just the specs would do fine. I want to keep them as close to the specs of the most recent Sasuke and ANW courses. So far all I can find is one company that sells the blueprints, but they don't have very many. I hope there is someone out there who can help me.
