Come one, come all, to the Sasuke 27 betting thread!
Place you bets against fellow SMF forum mebers. Perhaps you wanna bet that someone competed, or didn't compete? Perhaps you wanna beter that a certain number of people will clear stage 1? Perhaps you want to bet that Olivia Munn will pass the first obstacle? It's up to you!
Make a bet, and also make a punishment. Then wait until someone accept your beter.
Example:
A-hole: I bet Olivia Munn will Pass the first obstacle. The Punishment will be the loser has to wear a sig that says "Olivia Munn is a Sasuke Godess" until Sasuke 28.
Badalight: I accept your challenge!
Sasuke 27 airs and Olivia Munn does indeed pass the first obstacle. Bada would then have to wear the sig since he lost the bet.
(Yes I know Olivia Munn isn't in Sasuke 27)
If you talk about a new obstacle or an american competitor, please use spoiler tags. Besides that, have fun!
Rules:
If you loose a bet
- Don't be a sore loser
- If you have to wear a sig or something dont' say "I'm only wearing this because I lost" that takes away from it. I had to wear an olivia Munn Sig for 6 months and so many people thought I was obsessed with her. If I can do it, so can you.
- Some bets will not be allowed. For example, you can NOT bet someone to leave the forums or to stop posting.

I bet At least 5 Americans clear stage 1. The auction winner, along with any american not from the G4 crew does not count.
Loser must have 'Yasuo Aoki is my hero' as their sig

Can we also make it a rule that people don't acknowledge that they lost a bet. That happened a lot for a couple tournaments back and it really took away from losing and owning up to a bet.

Yeah, two rules this game should have is not talking about you lost a bet when doing the condition, and you can't bet the loser leaves or something like that. Li En Zhi will grab the small ledge of the UCH. Clearing the UCH counts as a win for me. If you lose, you will put "Li En Zhi can have my children" in your signature for two months. If I lose, I will put "Taiwan is a stupid country for SASUKE" in my signature for two months. Alternative bet: No American will clear the UCH. Payouts: If the person who takes this bet is from another country and they win, I will put their country's flag as my avatar for two months; if they lose they will put the USA flag as their avatar for two months. If the person who takes this bet is from the USA, then the loser will put "[winner] would make an excellent competitor on SASUKE" as their signature for two months. And also: (ANW3 spoilers) David Campbell doesn't count. |

Bets:
Shingo Yamamoto will NOT have his hat fall and go off course during the competition.
Loser must put as their signature, "I had a one night stand with Shingo Yamamoto while he was HATLESS!" For 3 months.

To my knowledge, sexual sounding signatures were banned. It would have to be relatively tame like the Munn one.

Don't make it blantenly sexual. Have it be like "I'd go gay for Yamada" or "When Yamada fails an obstacle, I wish it was me he would land on instead of water."
I can just sense that Rider is questioning every character in this post... >_>

I've got a bet, and this one surprisingly doesn't involve Mr. Octopus. Although I really, REALLY hate to say it, I'm willing to bet that in Sasuke 27, Takeda makes it to Stage 3 yet again but also fails it yet again. For me to win this bet, he would have to fail at any point in Stage 3 (i.e. if he would miraculously pass it at last I'd still lose the bet). And before anybody questions whether or not it was Takeda in the fuzzy Stage 3 pic in the other thread, that is completely speculation; for all we know, he could've just been an observer. The loser has to wear one of the 3 images in JP's first post in this thread until G4 airs the non-ANW3 competitors from Sasuke 27, and the winner of the bet gets to choose which one of the 3 they'll be wearing. |

I'm willing to bet 15 or more competitors clear stage 1, and 11 or more clear stage 2.
If you lose, the Olivia Munn sig is back till 28 or 6 months, whichever comes first.
If you win, you can decide them embarressing sig i where till 28 or 6 months, whichever comes first.
