Hopefully it doesn't prevent him from getting back into his parkour/freerunning stuff in the long run and/or become a lifelong issue that flares up from time to time. Good luck to him. Also, no offense to whothehellami, but could you please remove the names of those ANW3 guys in your signature? That should probably be information restricted to the Sasuke 27 board.

It worries me that he called the damage severe.

If it's the ACL then it's going to be a while before he can get back to parkour/freerunning. It worries me that he called the damage severe. Full rehab for an ACL tear is 7-9 months...and since he puts extreme pressure on his ACL with freerunning(ACL is a knee ligament), I'd say he's out for 9+ months.

Not much I can say about it other than...that sucks. I know how bad injuries like that are. Even with my sedentary lifestyle and minor injury to my ligaments (didn't even tear, they just needed to be tightened), I'm still having issues walking 3 1/2 months later. With a serious injury like that...makes me worry.

I don't think the problem is how long it'll take to recover (though 7-9 months WOULD suck) the bigger problem is that it could bother him for the rest of his life, and him being a parkour/free runner must suck...

Like I said, I'm still having issues walking without my knee buckling. I'm seriously concerned about his ability to do what he does. I hope for the best, but from my personal experience, I'm definitely worried. And again, my surgery was far more minor than his, and the doctor told me that it wasn't a guaranteed fix, just an improvement. So the real question is whether *spoiler name* will be able to regain his full ACL strength. If not...then even running would be an issue.

BTW, James McGrath did take part in ANW2. He lost on the 3rd quad step.

That 3rd step: once you pass it, you'll go places.
