I find it kinda sad that we gave a whole thread for Shingo's birthday yet we aren't doing much for Yuuji's birthday at all! Also I hate mosquitoes. -_-

As awesome as it is that the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge (someone really should trademark that) has spiked donations to help combat ALS, it's a tad alarming to me that very few of them actually inform people about ALS. It's for a great cause, and it's really no different than other fun things to do for charity (although it being viral as it is does differentiate it from say, running a marathon for breast cancer awareness). But the "fun" part shouldn't be more important than the "important" part, which is awareness and donating (as opposed to casually mentioning it). Eventually, it'll lose steam and fade out, but how many people will still actually KNOW what it is and what it does.

Eventually, it'll lose steam and fade out, but how many people will still actually KNOW what it is and what it does. Yeah, it would nice if even a little more information about ALS was provided during attempts of the challenge, but it generally seems unrealistic unless either a well-known individual or a news outlet gets involved in attempting the challenge or reporting about it, respectively. Most "regular" people with videos of the challenge just want to get a brief clip uploaded as proof that they did it and so they can dare others. Personally, I'm surprised there hasn't really been as much coverage on the dangers of the Ice Bucket Challenge. IMO, it's an imminent lawsuit. In any case, I'd love to see people on ANW show their support. After all, I'm waiting on the chance to call the main announcer Matt ICEman. *runs away*

Is it bad if you talking about the dangers made me want to see people dropping the bucket on their head while trying to dump it or slipping on the water? I know you mean stuff like shock and various ways of getting sick from freezing water but still.
On a related note here's the first fail compilation on youtube that isn't 8-10 minutes (not counting that 2-3 minute one that you click it and says the user took it down)

Speaking of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, rapper 50 Cent has opted to instead challenge Floyd Mayweather to read "The Cat in the Hat" on Jimmy Kimmel Live. If Mayweather succeeds, 50 Cent will donate $750,000 to the charity of Mayweather's choosing.

Or he could just donate the damn money because Mayweather being illiterate would have been found out long ago.

You know what he'll do? Say that instead he's going to donate it to a charity of his choosing....
Which will be the charity they would have donated it to anyway.
