Putting those generates buzz to the viewer, if an obstacle could take out such a great competitor (or one with potential), who else could it take out? Putting in nobodies doesn't give that same appeal. They revealed in 17 and 24 there was a win.

Mr. Octopus attempting flying bars. But seriously... (1) All-Star resurgence with Takeda coming out on top, and Yamada clearing stage 1. (2) Americans do well, many UCH attempts and a pass. I would love to see Travis Rosen attempt final stage (3) Sasuke Malaysia winner and Li also in third stage, providing epic international competition (and seeing TBS promote something like this). (4) Woman pass stage 1 (most likely Rie Komiya). (5) Having Sasuke 28

If a 4th win happens, than I'll be pretty disappointed... I'll be happy for the guy winning, but in terms of the state of Sasuke, it'll pretty much be dead at that point.

So I'm guessing you're not very fond of giving any of the ANW3 guys high numbers...or Katsumi Yamada? Other than that it's a pretty good list for the final 21, though I'd honestly be in favor of having another Sasuke 25 lottery thing to draw numbers (except for Nagano and Yuuji, no offense to Akiyama but IMO he doesn't deserve to get #98 ever again unless he suddenly starts getting to the UCH). That's just me, because I love to see variety with numbers. It's kinda awkward to me having very few to no clears for most of the tournament then potentially get most of the clears all bunched up. That's just me though. Mr. Octopus attempting flying bars LOL, it's called the Flying Bar (singular). Other than that though I agree with this statement.

1. There being a Sasuke 28 2. That Nagano passes at least the First Stage 3. Yamada passing the First Stage 4. Octopus Man clears three obstacles (unlikely...)
