I voted Lee. I think he will almost clear the UCH with more people sharing the honour with him.

As much as I hate predictions, I would have to go with Li En Zhi. He has shown consistency and has made progress with virtually every competition. There also seems to be less pressure on him than the Japanese competitors and he doesn't seem to stress as much as the others.
Not knowing if the course will change or not, I do think that the guys that struggled in 26 may continue to do so in 27 although I'm sure thaey have been training hard - especially the rolling sushi. I hope Nagano has a great run but I think his time may be up now.
I'd go with Koji, Li, Okuyama and 2 American competitors as my top 5.

I voted for Koji because he would of gotten pretty far in the UCH if it wasn't for the fluke on the metal spin

I'm surprised at the lack of love for Okuyama, Hashimoto and Yuuji to be honest, especially Okuyama(even though I didn't pick him, I thought there would be more votes for him).
I picked Hashimoto. I really hope he passes stage 1. Was anyone else annoyed to see Hashimoto not shown in full in 26? He was #98 and the last person to clear stage 1! He must have killed the first stage, becasue he walked slowly to the finish line and still finished with 10 seconds left. He's my pick, along with Yuuji, to win.
Sorry I waffled on.

Bunpei!!!
Lol, I wish.
I voted for Kongu, after a fall like that in 26, I think he will redeem himself in 27.

Great to see love for the American, even if we don't know if he's competing yet

Hopefully, someone on this list with only 0 or 1 vote will surprise us and do exceptionally well. Does anyone think this will happen? I can see Kanno and Yamamoto giving us great performances.

I'll be a tad more optimistic and say a new competitor. New as in a trial qualifier/ANW winner who hasn't been on the course many times or this is their first competition.

Predictions in Sasuke are very hard but I am going to have to say Lee and hopefully an American such as Campbell.
I wish Nagano luck and I hope he makes it far. I think he will make it past stage 1 this time but fail at stage 2.

I have to say Li En Zhi, he has made it furthest in the last 2 tournaments.
