I could care less about Kinect with anything.. even M3.. I know they will have a Kinect free version and I'm totally cool with that. I can't WAIT for that game to come out.. I will be sinking days into that.. LOL AWESOME series.. very well written and played.
I was "eh" with the new dashboard.. they change it every year or so.. sometimes several times.. I kinda don't like the layout but give it 10 minutes and they'll change it again..
I actually like the Youtube thing on TV. For those HD vids it will be cool to be sitting relaxing on my couch watching it on a TV rather than on my now-uncomfortable computer chair.
and although Gears is not my type of game I lol'ed big time with "w****" mode.. (instead of Horde Mode).. I can imagine all those disappointed people going "WTF NO w**** MODE???"
I soooooooooo want Halo Anniversary. I said when Reach came out. The Engine for Reach was so refined that I said I would pay money for a revamp of the original and they are doing it! I'm soooooooooo going to get that game preordered.
And.. Yes I'm getting Halo 4. Master Chief is still my favorite although they did a good game with the Noble team on Reach. Interesting that it's a new "trilogy". At least we had warning.
The things that really interested me were... - Tomb Raider - I have always liked the series, played the old ones on PS1 back in ye olde times, and stopped after Revelations (3), so this looks like a good reboot imo. - Mass Effect 3 - Never played more than an hour of the first one, or any of the second. I want to play them all very much so since I love Bioware's RPGs. - Ghost Recon: Future Soldier - First GR game I'll be playing in a long, long time, and hope to god that the Kinect controls of the game are not the only controls, I want a controller in-hand, not Kinect. - New Xbox 360 Dashboard - Well, for one, I f***ing called it. And two, it reminds me of a mix between the PS3's XMB and the Windows Phone 7 interface. It's got the scrolling horizontal bar at the top similar to PS3's XMB, but it's got the Windows Phone 7 style icons for each sub-menu item. - YouTube - While interesting, I'm a desktop person, first and foremost and no matter where i'm at in the house, I'd rather be on my desktop than at a TV. - Live TV - Great to see that they're getting more options out there than just SkyTV for the Brits, especially since I hate having more machines on the entertainment center, and if we can consolidate, i'm all for it. Though from what I've read/seen, so far the TV on Xbox test markets have said it's been a terrible experience. Hope they can improve it. - Bing - Ok, so, for the lazy people. Oh right, that's already well over 86% of the Xbox population as is. - UFC Pay-Per-View - I love UFC, so this is great to have if you don't have TV or anything, but seeing as how it's the PPV matches, I never buy PPV anything, so I'll be passing on this despite my interest. - Halo Anniversary - Sweet merciful Jesus, Halo 1 was the only Halo game that I enjoyed in it's entirety, period. I liked 3, but only on LAN games, never on Live nor did I care for the SP campaign. Do want. - Fable: The Journey - From what I could tell in the demo, it's an on-rails Kinect only game. Well, I sure as hell won't be playing it unless there's a controller involved and it's not on-rails Time Crisis style. - Minecraft - Oh dear lord, now I can lose myself to my Xbox as well as my PC? Damn you Notch! - Halo 4 - Cool story, bro.

G4 had a hiccup so I missed a couple minutes of ME3 Still though.. that will own my life in March.. SWTOR I don't give a damn about another trailer.. I want a date dammit and they didn't give one. SSX sounds interesting.. I haven't played it since Tricky back in the PS2 so might demo this. Reckoning looks awesome.. will have to tell hubby about it since he's a huge Salvatore fan and has been watching this on the periphery for a few years now. Overstrike looked fun Demo definitely.

I still want to know why the Vita has a touch screen on the back side.
I think it was more a touch pad (Like that little mouse thing you would find on a laptop), But I still don't get why it was there... What kind of game would even have you touching stuff on the back....
Meh.. I'm all late.. I had a bad headache and had to lie down so I totally missed the Sony conference. Glad it's archived so I'm watched that when I woke up.. www.g4tv.com/e3-2011/press-conferences/
Shocked to see the apology take so much time at the top of the show.. it's about fecking time.. it took them how long? Given also that I don't even own a PS3 and really have no reason to.. this was an "eh" conference for me. Nothing made me go "zomg I have to have it. Most of the shows this year were a bit lackluster IMO.. except for Ubisoft.. not as bad as last year but that's a looooow bar to begin with
