Hey guys,
I had this idea for a video for awhile and finally got around to start working on it. Basically, since most of SASUKE 26 is split between the TBS broadcast, G4 broadcast, and the Navi, I wanted to re-organize the broadcasts into one broadcast - SASUKE 26 Complete.
This will be all of those broadcasts combined plus a few extra clips (like people only shown in commercials) and it will show the competitors IN ORDER. I've added the full runs of all the Americans in their correct spots for all three stages, put Kawahara in the middle of the broadcast to correspond to when he ran, etc. Essentially it will a chronological broadcast of what happened at SASUKE 26. I'm basically done and the broadcast will be about 2 hrs and 45 minutes.
Anyone interested in seeing this?

How would we do this without breaking the copyright restrictions?

Aside from having the same concerns as unreal, I would love seeing it.

Sign me up, broski. How would we do this without breaking the copyright restrictions? You ignore it until you get a Cease & Desist letter from either TBS, or G4. Granted, that wouldn't be, ethical, to say the least. But it's primarily the only way to do this, as there's no legal way for anyone except TBS/G4 to re-edit the broadcast.

By the way, I'm not sure how Japanese copyrights work, but if you use it as instructional, critiquing, or a few other things, it would be legal under "fair use". Or so I think. G4 nabbed me on a copyright once so I don't know how all it works.

Those provisions protect news agencies and the like from getting slapped with copyright notices when they report on current entertainment events, etc.

Where will Sakakibara and Mori be? Middle? Yes, they will be shown after Kuramochi and the like. It will follow SASUKEpedia's account of the event: sasukepedia.wikia.com/wiki/SASUKE_26I tried to make everything flow as much as possible but you'll definitely notice some parts where I edited it. Btw, it finished rendering: Filesize: 5.45 GB Dimensions: 1280x720 Length: 02:45:29 Now to figure out how to upload this thing.

Filesize: 5.45 GB Dimensions: 1280x720 Length: 02:45:29 Now to figure out how to upload this thing. 3.45 gigs too large for YouTube, not to mention copyright issues abound. And with the imminent shutdown of Google Video, that one is pretty moot as well. MediaFire and/or some other form of file upload site would work, but only temporarily, as they claim that they're combing through files, and getting rid of anything that's protected copyright, but honestly who are they kidding? I've seen files that still work and it's been years. The best option, imo, would be to torrent the thing, but at 5.45gbs, you'd have to watch your upload. Closely monitor how much you're uploading, and at what times of day; and for the love of god change your default torrenting ports to something in the 40,000-80,000 range (I use the 50,000-60,000 range personally), as ISPs watch all traffic over default torrenting ports that the most common and popular torrent programs use (less than 20,000). Edit:Actually, on second thought, a federal judge deemed IP addresses as inadmissible in court when the RIAA/MPAA starting taking another 30,000 or so people to court over copyright infringements, on the grounds that "an IP is not a person", which is true, because anyone can change their IP if they know how. Point being, that decision effectively throws out those 30,000-ish cases and says "f*** you" to the MPAA/RIAA.

Absolutely brilliant idea. It's a shame that you would even have to go through this to begin with.
Just wish that they could do a TV broadcast, and then sell an uncut (well not exactly I guess) broadcast featuring all 100 competitors online afterwards for the mega fans. I'm not asking for a ton of extra work like fluff pieces and stuff, but just include the runs of those who got cut from original broadcast.
But I guess if they haven't done that by now, chances are pretty slim that it'll ever happen.
Either way a huge thanks for your work!
