Wow I'm moving to Malaysia... The US version looks ghetto as hell now lmfao. "Now"? What did it look like before? Seems the vids will be in July/August and someone has already promised to record it from Malay television and post it on Youtube for the foreigners Oh, I was meaning like some camera vids like we get for ANWs before the broadcast

I actually thought ANW 2 looked pretty cool, but maybe it was because I was there? ANW 3 on the other hand looks like crap... but it doesn't matter, the Malaysia trials blows both of those out of the water.

Update: Crazy semangat from Sasuke contestants in Putrajaya. So far from 44 contestants, only 1 person has completed the obstacle course. Sasuke!!!
Btw yes the course is timed. I think it's 2 minutes but have to verify that later. Poor guy that told me was coming up soon and was ridiculously nervous. Update: yep 2 minutes verified by another competitor that still hasn't gone.

It doesn't look like they shipped in the real things but those steps and the wall look pretty dang close to the real thing.

They finished taping for today but unsure how far they got. They intended to do all 100 .. then scaled it back to about 85 not sure if they got to 85 yet though. They continue tomorrow where they left off and will have the final after that (I'm sure after a break). Seems Armin will be doing the whole competition. Friiiiiggin' awesome work For those who didn't complete it.. that is about as close as being in Sasuke stage one as they'll ever experience.. that was just an awesome looking course!

Hmmm, G4 needs to go the same route they did. Id take a stage 1 replica over G4's homegrown stuff any day. But still think g4 has gotten better every year with their course. But yea, next try outs need to be like this lol. Maybe G4 can't have exact replicas and someone in Maylasia has connections?? Who knows, glad to see it spread to other countries though.

My biggest complaint is that it's only 4 obstacles long, and waaay to much running space inbetween the HPA and the WW.
But it just looks good.

I don't like the obstacle they choose for this course, and I disagree with a stage 1 replica, I think that makes it boring to watch them compete on the EXACT same course twice.

Let's hope they don't have a boot camp type deal.

From following Arsenette's twitter, it looks like they don't want spoilery videos because they will air some of this later. Thus, use your brains and don't let these links go past this thread for the time being.
1st Contestant
2nd Contestant
3rd Contestant (You can see Nagano's back at about the 1:25 mark)
"Ms. Petite"
Note: there is water there but you can't see it at the angle the person is filming.
