Actually, they asked the finalists to make new videos as well. I wonder if that means Levi will be making a new one? Anyway I love these things, here's mine: You wasted too much energy wrestling before competing which ultimately led to your defeat on the UCH.

LOL as if.....the jujitsu match was after stage 3. Nobody realizes how much harder the obstacles of stage 3 are when you have to actually do them one after another with a 30 second break.
Can you do 15 pull ups? Easy? no problem? ok Do 15 pull ups, then have someone with a stopwatch time you for 30 seconds as soon as your feet hit the ground. When he gets down to 1 jump back up on the bar and do 15 more......then time other 30 seconds and then 15 more pull ups.
Also I wasn't even clearing the UCH in practice before Japan, I got fat at the bootcamp LOL, too much sitting around and bad food. I was actually feeling really crappy the whole time after boot camp up untill after Japan. Wasn't able to get up climbing routs that had been easy for me just weeks earlier.

That's part of the ninja test. You have to sneak out after hours to aqquire your own food. Like a ninja*. *Using a shuriken on a guard is not recommended

Oh I thought of that, but there was nowhere to go, we were out in the boonies, I'd have to call a cab or something and they had already taken our phones (not that it mattered, there was no reception LOL) Also we were told if we did not stay in the campsite they may disqualify us. So I didn't wanna f*** around.

About how long each day were you guys actually doing something? I feel like it could get boring after a while (well then followed by something pretty stressful).

It was almost that bad at the first round of ANW2. I felt like I was being punished for clearing the course. Forced into a little square in the sun, no food, cheap, bottled water... Like Baron said months ago, they need to be a little nicer to the "talent" because without us, they don't have a show.
I imagine I would've left boot camp. I don't have the patience for that kind of s**t. Kudos to you, David.

Yes boredom followed by stress is an accurate description.
Oti: Well at least this time we can go in prepared for the worst, and hopefully it will be a little better. This time I'm bringing an umbrella and instead of packing my bad with clothes, I'm packing it with food! Probably bring a piece of cliffhanger rail with me and hammer and some nails so I can tak it up somewhere and keep actually training while I'm at the "boot camp" LOL!

Nah, you just need some of the more devoted members of this forum given a plank w/ nails, and locked in a room with the G4 execs

People are starting to get invited back. Mike Koslap (quasikoz) and Fernando Arce are 2 of them. There's more on g4 but I'm busy. Just felt like leaving this to document.

A belated congrats, Chris. Hope you do well on the course. I'll be cheering you on from my couch or bed while I recover from surgery. Amazing how slow that process is.

You're tired after your run and you're sore (sometimes) and they... they... they just don't give a damn.

The ANW course isn't that strenuous. It sucked having them try to force us to sit in the sun all day, but it's not like we had just run a triathlon. I think people overestimate the strain of the course.

Went to dinner upset and got back and twitter had good news: Well, got my tryout spot. They're shoehorning me in, as they originally didn't have any more spots left. Called me later with the good news. Seems they processed his application last minute and he has a spot.. which is good .. because he was going Thursday regardless since he had nonrefundable tickets. I mean seriously.. I can respect casting call decisions even if they are painful.. but it's another thing entirely when you don't even PROCESS an application. Glad they went back and reconsidered his application that he sent way back in the beginning AND deemed him worthy for a spot. Still feel bad for those who didn't get in. Seems 35 people so far are on the fence hoping to get in as a walk on.
